Well this give me chills watching it. I've owned 10 or so Hondas and last year I had saved up 5k to find a em1 if possible and ended up with a 07 fg2 with a jdm k24a swap. It's faster then I ever expected, but hear there not the best on cornering or track driving experience 🤔 I had only got to drive my car a few times before haven to wait out a license suspension for something that happened 10 years ago and I wasn't in the wrong. But I have the car in the driveway with a trunk full of new parts and a shed with new wheels and tires and the original k20z3 with a spun bearing. Still debating on building the k20z3 to put back in the fg2 or a older civic like my first car, a 94 dx coupe. Great driven man. And I can't wait to get my car back out on the roads and even a track if all goes well.
Practice. It takes time. You have to practice constantly and consistently. Even if you switch cars on the daily or wear different shoes, or have different mods or a different tune; all these factors can affect your driving depending on the car/engine… Also, you’re most likely only going to be heel-toe downshifting in this case, as you would have absolutely no time to downshift without being on the brakes; unless you wanted to redline in a lower gear way before a turn and kill speed and time (if that’s what you’re after). Often times at the end of a heel-toe, you might be slow enough to downshift an extra gear without being on the brakes; but judging by these speeds, probably not if you’re going “all out”.
