My business has a 55 year history of print-on-paper. Over the last 7 years I have introduced silk screen printing to my clients and sub it out. Over the last 3 years I have introduced DFT and online stores. That is where my focus has been and will continue to be. At 10:28, for anyone confused on how to assign colors, I might add that you have to right click in irder to access Color Properties. That's where I was stumped. And thanks Angela! Very helpful vid 😎

Hi Angela, I recently started working for a company that uses a Melco Embroidery Machine, and I'm facing an issue where the machine keeps breaking and peeling the thread. I have tried a few solutions, such as changing the needle, and bobbin, changed the setting about the garments I embroidered (like fleece sweatshirts, silk, etc.) and lubricating the bobbin case, but the problem still persists. Could you please advise on what else I can try to resolve this issue? Thank you. PS Thanks for your videos, they are so really helpful.

I have a question on Melco. ON baby lock I have a place to set tie-off stitches but with my Melco, I don't see the option unless I use the digitizing software they offer? I am finding the stitches on my Melco don't seem to be locked at thee end and come loose? How to I make sure the Melco is Tieing off at the beginning and End of ALL designs?

Hey Angela, can you tell me what anti-virus software use with melco software, because McAfee is not allowing my Melco to open or sometimes Melco software will stop running.
I know you use Mighty Hoops. I have a Baby Lock Array 6 needle. I was on a site to get a Mighty Hoop and it stated it was for Melco machines. Won't it work on my Baby Lock also?
If the thread isn't cutting correctly try doing the rotary hook maintenance! make sure you pull the knife all the way back when you reinstall the needle plate!
Hi what file Format does the Melco run I also have a Brother PR1000 that runs on pes and when I buy my designs I do keep all the files I am just hoping that it will include the file for Melco because I own a lot of designs also can you use Embrilliance with this machine? I did buy a new Window Computer a couple of years ago for a program that my Brother needed to run on but I am not a window person so I am praying it won't be hard to get use to.

I see a lot of small businesses sell anime-related shirts and hoodies. How can one start selling these types of items with legal issues ?
I keep getting a stop saying bobbin break but when I check it's good, I set bobbin tension before I start every time. Doing t shirts and using settings from your videos. I have my machine for 2 weeks and still learning. Any thoughts ?

Hey, which one do you prefer between the Melco and Brother PR680/670 (not sure which one you have). I have a PR680 and 670 and I constantly come across issues with tension and/or issues with the thread not cutting off cleanly or just piling/looping during embroidery so the cleanup process is a hassle. I'm considering switching to the Melco EMT16X because of the acti-feed option.
I would also like to know the answer to your question as I have the Brother PR680W and would possibly like to upgrade in the future. Anyone else have issues with just one of the needles not working correctly. I’ve got one needle I struggle with constantly after re-threading, blowing out the threading area, changing needles and bobbin thread😟

You can use .PES for Melcos as well!

They are doing it illegally. I know some places like etsy is starting to shut down shops with copyrighted items.
