- On the 11th April 1986, Status Quo embarked on their "Quo's Back Tour" starting at the Al Nasr Tennis Court in Dubai. Quo supported Queen during their "A Kind Of Magic Tour" for 4 of the UK dates; St. James' Park - Newcastle 9th July, Wembley Stadium - London 11th / 12th July, Maine Road F.C. - Manchester 16th July.
Status Quo's set was broadcast onto Capital Radio FM and has yet to be officially released in it's uncut format, directly from the master reel. The audio for this upload comes from the only copy of the broadcast in circulation that suffers from awful editing and poor quality. Digitally remastered on Reaper DAW.

Supporting Queen was a chance to go back on the stage that Roger Taylor gave to Rick Parfitt ´cause they were great friends 🤘 I had the chance to see them back in 2010 I was 11 years old in Nantes in France and it’s still the best concert I’ve ever seen I think

I'm surprised they didn't use this as the b side B to the Red Sjy 12" rather than the Milton Keynes one.
I mean the Housemartins Caravan of Love single was a John Peel session so it isn't unheard if for radio recordings to be on singles even then.
The Milton Keynes Medley had already been remixed by June 1986, so there wasn't a chance this was ever going to be included... and I doubt that Quo knew that much in advance that Wembley was going to be broadcast.
Hi Luke, Rick’s vocals seem like they are too high in the mix. Is this an issue with the original recording ?
Hi Phil, it was a live mix done on the day as the broadcast was going out live via Capital FM. The master copy could sound better, as it will be true stereo, whereas this (from memory) is mono capture from a web stream around 2010.
Slow train is better as part of a medley imho
