I cant get my head around Blender, Ive used Tinkercad from day one and know how to manipulate it to make the majority of things i need printing. I like your idea of the grid to produce rigidity, That works well, I have used triangle tubes before and structually those parts are still in place with quite a bit of force on them but they havent warped at all.
Thank you for your comment. I will make more videos about blender - it got much better in recent 2 years for design for 3d printing. Using CAD is a very different approach and I understand the switch is hard… for me too, I have to use for some things Freecad - and when using always blender in the past is sometimes a little mind boggling 😅
Yes, you should definitely do more videos showing the designing of stls. It might be useful to show the designing, slicing, and printing in one video. Keep it up! Your videos are very informative and interesting. Also, it was a great choice to do ender 3 mods as ender 3s are very common.
