So happy I watched this. Didn’t realize I wasn’t looking under the right thing on the knot. Definitely going back through since I was using another site at first. So stressful and haven’t even fully began
That is a great idea for a video - I will definitely cover both of those! Are you talking about thank you gifts for the bridal party or favors for your guests?
I'm so glad I've stumbled upon your channel! I'm currently in school to learn wedding planning... And now I'm engaged and planning my own wedding i need all the help i can get and i love your channel!!!
I appreciate this! I'm headed to my first choice venue today for my vow renewal and this is just what I needed. I love your attention to detail. Thanks much!
Omg! You're amazing. My fiance and I are planning to get married next year. You gave me SO MUCH INFO. I love it and it gave me ideas on how to go about this the right way. I just registered on The Knot. (Super excited). Thank you so much 🥰💕🙏🙏💕
Thank you for your video! But, I couldn't find the "Questions to Ask Your Wedding Venue and Contract Checklist" on your website. Looks like it's no longer free..
Kyle your videos are saving my life!! Trying to plan a wedding in London, England in the middle of a lockdown is not ideal. And trust me this city is crazy expensive 😅
Yes! I have one venue that ignored my request for pricing and just invited me to come tour. I gave them some availability but asked again. They finally sent the venue rental fees and said we'd talk about catering when I got there. Big red flag to me. I went through their material and saw that their required starting catering fee was DOUBLE what I had budgeted. Every other vendor has been great at giving me full pricing details.
My fiancé and I are breaking our heads between having our wedding reception on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday due to the pricing. Friday is $85 per person, Saturday is $120 per person and Sunday is $60 per person ! It’s insane how much cheaper it is depending on the day of the week. Sundays price is amazing, but we’re afraid our guests won’t be able to enjoy the night as much as if we were to have our reception on a Saturday.
I think your guests will be able to enjoy, no matter which day you choose! I agree that a Saturday wedding is easier for most people logistically, especially if you have a lot of guests from out of town. But I think people could make a Friday work too!! Personally, I would go with the Friday!
I think it's good to cc the significant other if they want to be involved! Just be sure someone is the point person so there isn't any confusion on who responded to what, etc.
How the heII did my boss learn to establish and work great receptions, if she's never even had one for herself? Her experience, knowledge and skills as an UNmarried woman is so ironic.
Hi I’m looking for videos on venues, I’m having a problem with Venue & I already gave the venue my deposit. When I booked they told me the starting price for food & beverages, gave me a mock up example & said when we got closer to the date we’d finalize the menu Now I’m 1 month away and talking to them to create my menu she is charging me $25 more per person & saying that there hotel is going thru renovations & now any parties over a certain amount of people is that amount Can they do do this ? I never changed the amount of guests I’m getting so much anxiety
If they gave you the menu with the contract, they have to stick to that. The only way they can bump up the price is if you change the menu. If they gave you a “starting price” they have to be able to come up with a menu for you that fits that, as long as it’s in the contract.
Hey Kelsey! I used to be a wedding planner, but I kind of retired from that to stay at home with my 14 month old! I started this channel because I still LOVE weddings, and I wanted to continue to share all of this knowledge that I learned along the way. I say "kind of retired" because I still plan weddings and lots of parties for my close friends!
If you spend $30,000 on a wedding, you’re nuts or a millionaire. Lol. More brides need to be more willing to compromise. It’s all marketing anyway. I learned quick to not settle on type of venue. There is actually research out there that spending more on the wedding day scientifically correlates to the marriage lasting shorter… hum… value values, your man, your family, your marriage… more than trying to build some fantasy one day experience
Not nuts. Just something people really want. Like me. I have been with my fiancé since 2013, engaged since 2018. I make 105k a year and fiancés hopefully soon to be job will be around 80k. We waited this long so we were both done for school and can afford what we wanted. Our budget is 30k.
Just to make your heart full, I was watching this and my four year old daughter walked up and said "momma, that girl is so beautiful." ♥
Omg that is the sweetest thing ever 😍🥰 Tell her she is so beautiful too ❤️

This helped sooooo much! Can you do a video on getting decorations and thank you gifts without going over budget?

The Unveiled Bride Thank You So Much!! And for the guests☺️💖

That’s crazy! Yeah if they aren’t upfront with pricing when you ask, it makes you wonder what else they are going to be sneaky with 🤔
@latinxxbeauty wow! I wish you better luck with your venues. 💖
useful tips! thanks a lot

looking for something in the pottstown, downingtown, phoenixville, west chester, etc. areas!!!
Would you suggest just one part of the couple email the vendors or cc the significant other as well?
I think it's good to cc the significant other if they want to be involved! Just be sure someone is the point person so there isn't any confusion on who responded to what, etc.
Hi! Tried to follow the link for the free questions and it states webpage is not available.
So sorry!! My website went down right when I was having my baby 🤦🏼♀️ It’s fixed now!

@@TheUnveiledBride thank you so much hun, I ended up having to speak with hotel manager and he understood & honored the menu with the price🙏🏽
The link I can’t get
Ashley Brown oops, just fixed it! Thank you so much for letting me know! 💕
