@pastytgarage our 86 Mr2 is like that. Had to give it an extra 3" to skid along the tops of the rails. If I had a tire with low pressure, it wouldn't clear! They are the funnest cars that I've personally drove. The most "exotic" being a Porsche 944, it was fun but doesn't hold a candle to a Mr2 with a few bolt ons!
Yeah older Japanese cars are much lower than most tool infrastructure allows haha. They can be the most rewarding driving experience for sure. Power isn't the only part of the equation.
You know you bought a race car when It gets 8 mpg.
Worst I've gotten is 18 so far 😭😭
@@pastytgarage My friend has an S10 that burns almost 5 gallons of E85 in a single pass on the dragstrip.
@sirjhonson8218 yeah that's pretty intense. More like gallons per mile at that point haha.
drive up onto some wood 2x4's and then use the floor jack, easier than breaking out the scissor jack
This would be faster for sure. This was more tongue in cheek than a showcase of efficiency haha.
When you got to put down 2 2x8s get it to clear the rails on the pit!
That's low low for sure.

Get A low profile jack
Need more low!
Your factory jack fits?
It indeed does. Maybe it's not racecar enough.
Or just take your spacer out and get a flat post on your floor jack
I'm going to look into the pad removal for the jack. I enjoy having the pinch seam tool.
