Hey Zack it’s Jason Hughes met you down at Leslier bridge that was a monster flounder and a very nice eating size black drum you guys caught good job. Good video bro.👍
Yoo! What’s up man?! Thanks a lot Jason! Told my girl what you said about getting her fish on camera next time and she got a big kick out of that 😂🤣😅 Awesome meeting ya and pretty work on them sheep’s! Hope to see you out there again!
Thanks bro! It really has been a hell of a year for Spanish :) I’ve found a few over at the lesner from shore with sting silvers a few weeks ago. You’re right for damn sure, I’m not going to get a gotcha stuck on my forehead at va beach pier! Hope all is well man!!
Epic black drum bro👊🏽. U toad killer🤣 I was out there today fighting that current in 15 to 20 mph winds but was able to get a few. Next time you fish that bulkhead across from bubba's use a 3/8 oz cannonball jig with a 5in gulp jerk bait in white. It's a flounder killa👊🏽
Thanks broo! Man I almost hit you up but we weren’t too sure where we were going till that morning! I told Charlie I know a guy who does real well out there! Was I near Bubbas? Lol, if I was I didn’t even know it. Thanks for the info bro! Just have to come with us next time :)
That traffic keeps me from fishing anywhere past ft. Eustis. 😂 I went to school at odu and live just outside of richmond my 1 hr 20 drive is long enough without that terrible traffic!
Oh man! You’re so right! It’s risky business for damn sure. Last time some friends and I were at rudee a dolphin at the Spanish mackerel off his stringer and nearly pulled him over. Hope all is well man!
That water really moves and sweeps ya where it wants to even back in the grass. I am honestly the noobest of the noobs. I can count on my hands the amount of times I’ve kayak fished 😂 If I can kinda do it, I’m sure you can too! Just water the life jacket and play it safe.
The current is bad would lesner would be on the bottom of my recommendation list. If you go make sure there’s low wind speeds and don’t put your hand in front of the kayak and pylons…just let it happen
Like amberjack? Lol. Why out of all the fish that can have worms, you went with amberjack? Anyway, depending on the size and location of certain fish, yes they can have worms and or parasites. In this area, and that size, I have no problem eating it. If this was a 15lb + black drum here, I would not have harvested. The full grown ones, I wouldn’t eat anywhere. Google “black drum recipe”. You’ll see endless pages of stuff that wasn’t posted by me.
Sweet video man. Kayaking around that bridge can get wild quick! Nice black drum!
Thanks man! Really wore me down quick, that water is a whole different monster!! I’m learning though :) Thanks MC!!
That is the biggest flounder ive ever seen in your thumbnail congrats on that hope you got to eat & enjoy it!
Man, that is the biggest I’ve seen here in va, personally. He def cleaned it and said the fillets were thick as all!
