Love all the different camera angles in this video. I'm sure that must have taken a lot of extra time, but it's very much appreciated! 📷
Thank you for noticing Chris! Yes it took a lot of work and I did it all by myself which makes it even harder lol
Great video, you're putting that Fransgard to work!
Thanks Dave! I love it when I get that winch out!
Nice job 👏 👍 love the winch 😳Hummmmm
It's definitely one of my favorite attachments 👍
Still really liking my LS tractor, any videos with a LS in it am watching 😊
That's what I like to hear! 👍🚜🔥
I am not able to relate to your magnificence in Tractor knowledge and hands on Farming at this scale; I can only send you all absolute love, joy and everything good from my heart...which I do very often. Continue to be BLESSED. 💞
You're the best Moira! We feel the same about you!
@@Mallard5plus1Farmhouse God love you and thank you. Continue to be fabulous my dears. Much love to you all ... Mallard six 😄💕. xx
Nice work buddy
Hey thanks Hank! 👍🚜
Hey, hey you made a short order for them trees and brush. Those winches are powerful. Very handy indeed, CJ.
I tell you Dean it is one of the most fun attachments I have to run! 👍🚜
Stay safe around there on that hillside and using the winch cable to drag those logs like that. It was nice of the Foreman to bring your lunch to you. They take pretty good care of you around there. Fred.
Yeah she's a sweetheart making me a sandwich. Hope all is well with you Fred 👍
Great video, wow, thick vines and steep slope. Try to keep vegetation on the slopes when you can. Vegetation will protect the hill side from erosion. Enjoy your videos. 😊
Yeah those dumb vines are a pain lol.. I'm leaving the trees up top but I wanted to clear out the lower ones so they don't land on the pigs. Thanks for watching us Al!
I figured you had a plan, be safe my friend.
I didn't realize your hillside had such a slop . Be carefull , nice work CJ.
We have quite a few like that lol 👍🚜
Looking good CJ, enjoyed the video keep em coming
Yes sir we sure will Dave! Glad you enjoyed it! 👍🚜
Nice safe way too bring them out of that rats nest of vines on the side of a steep hill . A grapple is going too be a perfect attachment for you . 👍👍👍
I love ripping them out of those dumb vines Stephen! Can't wait for that grapple too 👍🚜
👍👍
Thanks Jeff 👍
Great video and its fun work but many better, faster ways to clear all this.
Using the equipment I've got bud
I had never seen a PTO winch before. I think I like it.
I bought this winch from my aunt when my uncle passed away. It sure comes in handy on the hills. Next time I shoot a deer I'm going to try and use it then 👍
Hey check out evan hometown acres last video or so he uses tordol rtu and puts it on the stump to stop any regrowth. I’ve used it as well and it works very well.
Oh yeah I watch Evan a good bit. I'm probably going to get some of that 👍
Pretty cool, what is the main advantage of having the winch rather than just a cable connected to your tractor to pull them out?
The advantage is that I can pull out 50, 100, 200 foot of cable and pull it all back in closer to the tractor.. that way I'm not a mile away from the log I'm dragging lol
@@Mallard5plus1Farmhouse okay that's kind of what I figured, I've always just had various lengths of cable with shackles to make them longer or shorter as I needed them. The winch would be sweet though.
@@SteadfastRC plus with these hills it's nice to pull them down and up places where I can't get to
In regards to the Pig fencing, have you ever used premiere electric fencing? We use it for pigs it's great, the only thing about it is piglets are small enough to squeeze through but it keeps the adults in and it's easy to move.
That's what I was leaning towards.. I was more concerned with the older pigs but if you're saying they stay in then I really like that idea 👍
@@Mallard5plus1Farmhouse yeah we really like it, been using it for quite a while. I have a 12-volt fence charger running off of a deep cycle battery with a 30 watt solar panel oh, it's pretty much self contained. You will want to spring for a good fence charger, especially for the dryer months.
@@SteadfastRC ok good to know.. I was going to ask what kind of charger you use. Thanks for the info! 👍
@@Mallard5plus1Farmhouse parmak magnum 12 charger. It's not waterproof like they say it is so keep it out of the rain you can put it in a container or something
Pigs would have that place cleaned out in about 1yr depending on how many you put in there..with no work from you.
Yeah they sure would expect for the trees 👍
