Hello Andreas. I enjoyed viewing the videos you set to my music, and thank you for your respect, crediting me and the album. What an amazing experience your pilgrimage must have been! I hope to go there some day too. It is great to see the scenery, as I had so many mental pictures of it while I was composing the album - I lived and breathed Joan of Arc during that year. Good that you used the quotes too - being all direct translations from Joan's own words at her trial. It was intense reading that book; one I will never forget. What a woman! Thanks again, Radha Sahar, New Zealand

Best of greetings, Radha! Thank you for your warm and lovely words, and thank you for accepting the use of your music at this video. I apologize that I uploaded the video here before receiving your permission. I tried to make contact to you about this via e-mail (I found your address at your website) earlier, but I suppose the mail never arrived. But I'm glad to hear that you are okay with it, and that you enjoyed these videos I set to your music.
The pilgrimage indeed was a profound and a deep experience, one that had the utmost significance on me. For me, on top of many other meanings, the journey was also about a lifelong dream coming true - to be able to reside, even if only for a short time, where Jeannette was born and where she grew up. I have been highly interested in Saint Jehanne, her life and her person, almost throughout my life, and have developed a some sort of devotion and attachment to her, especially in a spiritual sense. I consider her as my friend and my saint. I left my heart in Domrémy, and hope against hope that I might return there again one day. I hope that you get to experience the wonderful serenity of that village some day, too!
I express my deep gratitude to you, as your "Joan of Arc" album was a significant part of my pilgrimage. I listened to it during the journey numerous times, but especially while being in Domrémy. I recall as we were driving there from the previous location of our pilgrimage, and as soon as that village rolled into our view, I began listening to ”Fields of Domremy” from your album, and tears literally welled up in my eyes. I feel that you have truly been able to capture the true essence and spirit of Jeannette and Domrémy into your musical work, and if like you say you haven't even been there yet, it is even more amazing! Listening to your record one might easily think that it was composed while being surrounded by the landscapes and sceneries of Domrémy-Greux. Your mental images must have been very strong, and it really can be heard that you lived and breathed with Jeannette that year - your music is so evocative and truly inspiring. Saint Jehanne truly lives in your music! I was familiar with the album even before the pilgrimage, but ever since the journey it has also become a way for me to reconnect with my experience, to return back there into the bliss of Domrémy. So I know your musical work will continue to be a momentous part of my life to whatever end.
So a huge Thank You for being a part of the most defining moments of my life through your music! Love, Andreas Salminen, Finland

Ana Briones It's so rewarding to hear that this little video is healing and uplifting to you as well! I am eternally grateful to our Lord that I was able to be there in that place where Sainte Jehanne was born, baptized and where she grew up. It was a blessing beyond measure, more profound than can be expressed with words. These images along with this music is the closest thing that can express what I feel. I only wish that I could return to Domrémy, for it is there my heart yearns back to...
