Great company!! I have a pair of 100% cotton. And a 4-way stretch pair. Like them both for different reasons. Every denim head should give them a try. Great quality for the price
They’re making stretch denim the best way possible. Sure, it’s not going to fully please a raw-denim purist but I’d say it’s worth having a pair since there are situations (like Nick said in previous video) where being comfortable is the most important factor (ie long rides on an airplane).
I guess I fall into the purest category now. I’ve tried some stretch denim from Lucky Brand. They are the most popular maker in the USA. The lack of breathable is huge. In Texas heat 80s+ it just doesn’t bother. Real denim is the way to go.
I got a pair of Katos 2 months ago, and they're fantastic. They scream quality, the comfort is off the chart, and they feel great to the touch (since only cotton touches your skin). I got the 10.5oz ones, so breathability hasn't been a problem for me.
I stop wearing raw, thick denim jeans because they were aggravating my low back. Also stretch jeans look much batter if you keep your self in good shape.😊
there are quite a few in my denim playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLNld8fx1Smnn2mTGC9oricAyOgpwzzAgc.html check out this one from london: ua-cam.com/video/0B82x-SEklo/v-deo.html
This was wonderfully informative and insightful. My "problem" is that the stretch fibers are still plastic (of a kind) and it's just true that the less of that in the world the better. These jeans are making the world alllll that much worse and folks will wear them for a long, long time---and that too is a good thing.
yeah it's curious isn't it. you'd be interested in this brand i just found, mostly women's jeans but check it out it's sustainable stretch made with natural rubber! www.corevadesign.com/en/store/uomo
Good deals on non-stretch denim at the Burlington and Marshalls stores. I recently found a non-stretch Levi’s 569 for $16. Most people want stretch denim these days. The same thing happened to leather jackets. People started wearing PU leather jackets because they think it’s more comfortable.
Call me a boring old fashioned fool, but stretch jeans are a gimmick for the modern type. Definitely, not for those who enjoy traditional and quality clothing.
I don't have to call you a fool to disagree with you. Stretch is not a gimmick- it's very comfortable. It may not be for everyone, but selvedge denim with a little bit of pu isn't crappy. Why do some people insist on seeing the world in black and white?
@@jakethewozit's a strong opinion, but it is one that I share. Stretchy jeans are more comfortable, but they aren't nearly as durable. They don't age well therefore they stink.
Stretch denims are the worst types of jeans out there. It's like wearing spandex/ leotards/lycra & uncomfortable as hell in the summer.. This is the worst kind of denim to waste your money on.. It's great for women but not something that any man should have in his wardrobe..
the other video! How They Fade Jeans At The Factory ua-cam.com/video/FAtcCZJ2K1o/v-deo.html

yeah the 4-way stretch is a real difference
Thank you Nick for the amazing education in denim. You have cleared up some things that I didn’t understand. Stay awesome dude!
you got it carlin man!
I have some Naked and famous that are a few % poly and they make it easier to move around in. Great add for those that already have regular jeans.
You really do have such a cool job. Another great video
haha you make it possible

Can you explain why you think it was bothering your back? I’m confused.
Very interesting video! Would love to see more sit-downs with denim makers

Very informative video.

Interesting. Sounds like you're on a mission to stamp out opinions that differ from your own. Good luck with that
cool story bro
They are awesome for working in. Much easier to move around in especially bending the knees.
