Awesome looking knife, really digging the aesthetic of it especially with all the different hardware that's available. Frag pattern on the handle looks great. Keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
This is a sick blade, it's hard to believe it's his first design..First saw this knife review on The Brass Brigade channel..Get up the great content , digging your channel
This is such a good looking knife. Fidget factor seems off the charts. Pocket clip is kinda chunky though, if I was the designer I’d probably split it in half lengthwise.
I first saw this a few weeks ago and was instantly in love 😆😐 Anyways I plan on buying one . I'm not a big fan of the frag pattern , but definitely not a deal breaker...I would prefer just plain titanium.
So i have a few knives that have t6's for clip screws and I've NEVER and i reiterate NEVER stripped a single screw and not to mention I'm using a 10 dollar hyper tough bit set i picked up at walmart YEARS ago. I'm constantly changing out steel flame clips that use 6's with ZERO problems so maybe just operator error on your end lol.
@@Cyanoblades he’s been giving very subtle hints on Instagram and I called it out by message and confirmed it to me that they are almost done with the prototypes for a full size.
Hi Neeves's, hey you being the sharpening guy, could you tell me please when stroping your knife, if your using a compound on your strop do you apply pressure when stroping and no pressure when using a plain strop? Thanks and keep up the great content 👍
It's basically the same, you don't want pressure because the leather will indent and wrap around the edge possibly rolling the edge or knocking teeth off, compound puts an abrasive on the leather to help increase its ability to remove burrs or to help maintain an apex with bite, the abrasives slide past the apex cutting in tiny micro teeth, a bare leather Strop will be OK for de burring or maintaining but would increase performance with a compound,
This is a fecking stunning little piece of work from QSP. I want one MAM! MAM! What? I might be 47 but can you just get me a little bit of a present pleeaasseee! Is it another knife by any chance? It might be, PICK YOUR SHIT UP AND GET OUT, you over grown baby!!! so that’s a no then🤔💩😂😂😘👍🏼 Have a beautiful day Jerad as always stay safe and healthy my man 😘👍🏼
Good review, thx! Though dunno, for 250 bucks, frankly wasn't expecting so many thangs to have to get 'used to' (the un-sharpness, weird flipper tab, general lack of 'style', etc). But does sound like just the ticket for fidget flipping (plus maybe opening the occasional Amazon box... lol)?!
I feel your pain brother. Had the same issue on my Shaman. Had to replace the hardware with TI. I had to use a screw extractor to get the damn screw out! It really pisses me off! Spyderco uses soft hardware to start with, add a t6, and it's a disaster waiting to happen.
@@tristanmurphy4731 Yeah Nick Shabazz did a great video about that just other day. There are some dumb screws that have concave bottoms instead of flat so your effective contact sites are decreased.
secondly, Jarod. You HAVE TO STOP loving and being "blown away" by every single knife you review. This is why people trust Nick Shabazz's reviews more, because he will straight up say if a knife sucks regardless if that company sent him the knife for free or not. The fact you heavily compliment every knife that is sent to you (in order to keep client relations with maker good) is great for yourself, but HORRIBLE for us (the viewers). If your not going to give honest opinions on a product don't review them. It makes taking anything you recommend very difficult to trust. I hope you don't think I am saying anything in a mean or hostile way, I just want you to start being honest in your reviews. Saying 5 GREAT things about a knife and 5 negative things is not how you do it either. If the negatives of a knife HEAVILY outweigh the positives, tell us that! Tell us if you had to use your own money to buy it, would you? Ignore the companies that send you the knives for 5minutes while you do the review. If the company cannot appreciate your candor and honesty in the review process, then you don't need them in your life to begin with. If the company is a GOOD company, they will still continue to foster a relationship with you even if you slam one of their designs in a review and recommend changes going forward on their design.
The "designer" of this knife steals designs. His newest release steals from the PuP. This is pretty much an Odium if Joe Vero helped with the handle. Metal Complex has already distanced himself from this person and deleted all of the related content. I would recommend you do the same
I don't know how it's an opium, it has 3 forms of deployment, it's impossible to make a knife in 2021 without it resembling another one in some sorta way, we have been making knives for centuries. Resembling a design isn't stealing in that case throw away every knife you have because they were almost all influenced by another, but I feel it is necessary and it's an issue IL gladly take it down

Couple of things here, metal complex is not the god of knives. 1/3 of his reviews are size comparisons when we already know how big the knives are lol. The next thing, metal complex LOVES the knife, he clearly says he's keeping the nymble lmao

The VERO LUX still wins for tri-engagement design flow. It does everything this knife does, but better (and it's made by REATE)
I got frage pattern # 49
I think it has a MEDFORD VIBE. THANKS FOR SHARING.
I can see that most say ferum forge vibe

Yes!

T6's got to go. Stripped out a T6 on a Spyderco using my Wiha torx and barely using any force, the damn lock tight screwed me.
