- This is a Review of the Masters of the Universe Origins Turtles of Grayskull Man-At-Arms Figure from the Turtles wave one series. I also show some parts swapping with other Origins and Masterverse figures with heads and accessories.

He actually looks pretty cool. I’m digging the armor. He actually looks like a whole different character. But I actually really thought the helmet would come off of this one.
I hope this line succeeds for the people who want it, but I just really hope this doesn’t distract Mattel from introducing more characters like 200X and POP. For the people that are not interested in this, it’s just gonna stretch out the time for what we actually really want. A lot of people are starting to get tired of just getting the same characters put in different forms. I understand that tooling is expensive, but you also gotta give people what you want before everyone gets fatigued on the origin line.

I also like the new look. Yeah I wish the Helmet removed too. I also hope Mattel finish the vintage inspired Origins and also gets involved with more 200x and POP figures. I think they will later next year. I think the Turtles crossover is a new idea and bringing new people to the Origins line. I do hope the Origins is successful down the road with everything! I love this figure, such a cool new look for MAA. The samurai look suits him. I think the dark green goes so well with the yellow/orangey Armor. Good detailed review!👍

I was not initially impressed when I first saw the leaked pictures for Man-At-Arms, but seeing him in hand now, the figure is growing on me a bit more. Still not quite my favorite from this first wave, but he doesn’t look nearly as bad as I first thought he did. The shell on his back made me think it was part of a mutation, which seemed very odd to me, but now that I realize it’s a removable shield, it makes more sense. Being able to attach his mace to Donnie’s mace to convert it into one huge “bo staff” brings everything up a notch.
If I remember correctly, the 200X line had a Samurai variant, so I wonder how this version compares to that one.

I also wasn't sure or even that interested in another Man-At-Arms variant in this Turtles line when I first saw him being a main figure in the wave one series. But after getting him in hand and then going over all his details in this review, I think he looks awesome because of the head sculpt, New Armor, and accessories. They put some extra attention to detail in this figure. His cool that his mace Weapon can now link or attach to Donatellos staff Weapon and make that enhanced Super Bow or a Duel maced staff! The colors on everything really stand out, too. I'm also glad the Shell is a Shield and not some Mutant part on Man-At-Arms arms, as you mentioned! I do like the idea of the He-man in this wave being a Mutant bad guy now. When you get a chance, check out my review on him. I really like that figure in this wave and design! I'm happy to hear you like the Man-At-Arms variant in this line. It's always good to hear positive comments that will help the Origins line stay alive! Happy New Year to you and your family ✌️

Yeah, I found a couple of early international release versions of the figures online. The USA releases aren't supposed to hit retailers until 2024. I like what I see so far in hand! Thanks for watching 👍

Thanks for the detailed parts swapping ideas. Yes, ultimately the only difference is going to be a different green body suit for MAA. IMO, least favourite figure from this wave & I totally convinced that I wouldn't be buying this figure. On the other hand this MAA's armours / accessories would really blend well on Mike (when he is released, since he always sports with orange themed bands & bandana). That's the real beauty of these Origins based figures.

Yeah, different color looks are all you're really getting with the first release, LOP, or 200x Origins Man-At-Arms arm bodies. And some other variations in the heads. But this turtles Man-At-Arms comes with some cool armor pieces for other figure customs. He is basically just another MAA variant figure for the Origins but with a unique head and helmet now. @@Themanchlid Totally ! Like I mentioned, I really waiting to see how these armours would spice up Mike when he gets released. Future waves are going to be the ultimate test for this line sub line.

I really like the look of this figure: I can't wait to get one. Kinda hope that Mattel puts out a MOTU weapons pack so that we don't have to buy multiple characters just to get different armors for customs. He-Man looks so good in this armor, I'd love to have one for him.
Yeah I was excited to remove this Man-At-Arms and take a closer look at him. I think he came out really cool and has a unique look with the new Head, armor and different colors. I'm not sure if Mattel is going to release weapon packs. I have a feeling this line will be heavy on build a figure and sharing parts from what I see. But you never know! I actually like the design of this figure. The armor is very samurai-esqe which looks cool.
I think The Whole Shibang is taking preorders for these figures at the moment and I definitely plan to get this one.
I also like this new design for Man-At-Arms. It works good for The Origins Turtles line. Shibang is taking orders now. But these will probably show up here in the USA first for us. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍

Yeah the colors don't match up exactly! Someone just asked me to compare this figures body colors to the Masterverse Version 2 Mer-Man. The colors still didn't work good together. But thanks for the suggestions and checking out this review 👍
My favorite manatarms is origins snake armor. I prefer gray color armor and mace

Lol. Yeah I think this line is gonna go in to parts for build a figure or accessories that is included with certain figures and can work with another part like the Two staff parts from Donny and MAA. I have to collect them all now!😱
I've not seen the Filmation origins figures in Walmart stores, are they online only?
Yes they are online or preorders still. A place called the paulmart store online had some of the filmation figures in stock. But they were more expensive. I think the Filmation figures aren't supposed to hit USA Retailers until December or January technically. Thanks for watching 👍
Great review as always. These are very nice figures. But a pass for me. Saving money for remaining toy vintage stuff. And the cartoon collection.

No these were found on ebay from a seller who had a limited Case of International figures early. These aren't supposed to be in stores until spring of 2024

Hey! Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! I just compared this Man-At-Arms and the Masterverse Version 2 Mer-Man under my lights. This Tmnt Man-At-Arms suit or body is much glossier and a has more Blue in it than Mer-Man. I would say a few shades off. So no they are not same or close enough for parts.

@Themanchlid you're so right about the only thing missing is the lack of interchangeable parts. Wtf? Wish these were more like mcfartlane so they could be broken down. That's why marvel legends is flopping.
The only thing that really dissapointed me was the Helmet that was glued on. Aside that, most of the parts are interchangeable as I showed.

Thanks for watching the review already. I found these on ebay. A seller had a case of these international early release samples it seems. I just checked ebay now and I don't see anymore at the moment. They sold out fast. Maybe some more will appear after the holiday.👍

Sorry but all I hear is the ear splitting sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped with this toy line. Each toy line should stay in its own lane.
It's not that uncommon to see different toy lines trying cross over ideas or using other figures or movie franchise license to try something new. I wasn't for this either originally. But once I got the figures in hand I liked the looks and felt they could work good in the Origins line. Thanks wasn't and sharing your thoughts 👌

@@ben8447 It's all good! I grew up with the Turtles in my teenager years and the Vintage MOTU as a kid. I had most of the Vintage MOTU collection. But I never had a single Turtle figure then or even to this day. But yet I always liked the concept. I guess somehow mixing the Turtles with Origins line which I absolutely love, opened the door to those figures now for me. But I will only stick with these Turtles of Grayskull versions. I'm not gonna get into the Playmates or Neca ones. Thanks again for stopping in and I appreciate hearing your Honest thoughts on this crossover!👍

At least as the announced figures are concerned, mattel has said that ALL of the deluxes are retailer exclusives. They haven't said which one or if they're all the same. With our luck each one will be a different store.
