hey! I'm a 16 year old spanish girl and I just wanted to write a comment to say thank you. I got informed that I passed the C2 Proficiency exam yesterday, even though I thought I wouldn't. It was all thanks to your videos! They truly helped so much.
Hi Ben,
I got my CAE results just now, I have passed the exam with flying colors. Thank you very much for the incredible content. After all, you made my dream come true.
Legend has it that every superpowered man has a cape and in our case, it, would be bear the letter F on it, which stands for focus; what I do not have clear enough is the colour of it. Come to think of it! it would be blue the colour of the constancy, necessary to maintain for almost four hours
Hi Ben! Just wanted to thank you for your great content, I got my results for the C2 and passed with grade A even though I thought I messed up in the writing and the listening parts. Your videos helped me a lot and gave me the final push to face the exam!
You are an amazing teacher, thank you for your incredible content!
Wow! Congratulations 👏 That's an amazing achievement. I'm so glad my videos helped
Thank you for your videos, just passed with 201 (with the c1 test)
Congratulations! C2 level!
Thanks, Ben! I'm taking the C2 Cambridge exam on Friday and I will try to enhance this superpower during the week😊
Best of luck!
Hi Ben, what a great video of yours once again. Even if everything you said seems obvious, it can be very hard to focus but I think it's really helpful if you're always clear about what you want to achieve. When I take a break, breathing techniques always help me a lot. Please keep doing the good work, so long, Sabine 😉 👋😀
Thanks, Sabine 🙂
Hello Ben,
I have been watching your videos for about a week now as I will attend a C1 exam on the 26th of July. I find them very useful but I have to say that this one about superpowers is just top notch!!!
Thanks! Grazie! Gracias! Merci!
Best of luck!
Good luck in your exam!!!
Remember to leave time to pass your answers to the answersheet. Believe me,it takes more time than you think!
@@moler195 thanks for this tip!

@@tothepointenglishwithben. Thank you!
thanks Ben for this video, a great one as usual :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Ben, thank you once more for your videos - you're a great teacher!!!! Are there any podcast you would recommend??
Thank you! 🙏
My pleasure
You need to get used to being without your phone, just like the good old days !
As ever, many thanks for your time as well as your tremendous of course.
Are you not bringing the gaffer back for more of Cockney rhyming slang any time soon?
If not, then you must be having a Turkish !
I'll be seeing ya guv'nor.
No plans for another video with my old man for now. But maybe in the future
I have no one to chat about my CPE scores, I got them today and glad I got 203 overall. All my parts are above 200, UoE is 219, but my Writing is 176 T_T, just wondering what I did wrong... Am I sooo bad at writing? My CAE Writing was much better) Your tips helped me anyway!))) Thanks!
Congratulations! A pass at C2 level is a great achievement, whatever the score.
I'm glad my tips helped
Ben I'm proud I got my C1 certificate at EOI. So grateful with your tips and vocabulary. BTW, I came into a hands-on video you posted with regard to football, but I can't find it. Could you post the link please?
Take it easy.

@@tothepointenglishwithben. Oh dude, you made my day! Thanks a bunch
@tothepointenglishwithben. When reading and listening in concentration, does it pass the time to take notes or write down vocabulary, or do you allow as much as possible? (according to your strategy)
hello! is the speaking part of the cambridge exam recoded and sent to England or assessed at the place of entry? thank you!
Hey Ben! I just wanted to ask you a thing. As a part of writing practice for my upcoming CAE, I thought I could look at some corrected assignments. I remember one video of yours where, throughout the whole video, you scattered a few steps (a bit like encryption) to get to one website where one could find a couple of them. I watched it a year ago or so, but now that I wanted to come back and check it out, I simply cannot remember what video it had been. It might have been something about improving writing skills. I remember it being quite long, but now that I was browsing your videos, I could not find anything that fitted these "parameters", so it might be possible that I do not remember correctly. Maybe it was not even from your channel, but I am quite confident it was. Do you possibly know what video of yours I am referring to? It would save me hours of going through all of them. Thanks a lot for your response!
I don't think that was one of my videos, Nina. However, the C1 Advanced Teacher's Handbook has some writing sample answers with examiner comments. Also, the website engxam.com has some examples.
Hi Ben, thanks a lot for your help.
I would like to ask you for some advice about the way we can know our marks on a cambridge english scale from the marks we know when we make tests on our own. I found a document for teachers in the Cambridge website, but i think it's not updated since the reading and use of English are mixed in a different way.
I'm sure all the content on the Cambridge website is up to date.
However, you might find this website useful: kseacademy.com/cambridge/how-calculate-score-cambridge-exam/
@@tothepointenglishwithben. Thanks for the answer, Ben!
You are right, the Cambridge document I was talking about was OK. I might have misunderstood something or mixed up with other former exam samples, but now I understand, and the page you've showed has been very useful.👍🏽
Can please someone tell me with which part the Cambridge exam starts and how long each part takes as well as how many questions has each part? Thank you for your help :)🍀🍀
On the Cambridge website you can see exactly what the layout of the exam is. It's a bit too long for me to type when you can just find it online :)
@@bigbadlara5304 Thank you. 🍀
I have a question regarding reading and use of English exam. I have mine tomorrow. I watched your videos throughout my preparation process and you said that we should start with part 5,6,7,8, but im quite a slow reader, and it took me 30 mins trying to focus on part 5 without thinking about part 1,2,3,4. So what do you advise me to do?
You have to read quicker. There's no other solution now, I'm afraid. You have 90 minutes to do all 8 parts, so you can't spend 30 minutes on one part.
Do your best to stay 100% focused all the time.
im sorry, i mean recorded
