Hello Karolina. Excellent work !
My question is how do you come up with these quite sophisticated lighting setups?
Some of it is just experimental, some I discuss with other photogs and try something similar to what we discussed could work :)
whats the setings of the flash f what ?
Hello, how do I achieve the first look if I only have one key and a fill light?
Your channel is amazing. Great work!
i really used to like photography a lot. but since i've been a DP for the last couple of years. my love for photography a little bit fades. and looking at your set up using all the scrims really reminds me of the set while im shooting. and really inspires me to use all the lighting technique im using while im being.a DP to photography! thank you so much karolina, you really inspiring! may peace always be upon you.
THIS is fire - Thanks for sharing your lighting setup
Beautiful pictures, some of the nicer work I’ve seen on the tube. Also good to see someone using a viewfinder as opposed to a flippity floppity lcd screen, so much more control and stability 🙏🏼
what a wonderful channel, more videos plssss 🇧🇷
This was moving , beautifuly produced and planned! And the sentiment hits hard, thank you for sharing ❤

For look 3 if my studio does not have white walls to bounce off the light could you share how this can be done>? Thank you so much for sharing these your work is beautiful
you are so damn talented girl!
So kind, thank you!
great video!!
thank you!
Hi , Amazing video as always!!! do you know what is the brand of these backdrop that you're using? they're amazing
If you are talking about the canvas one, It’s not a brand it’s a local artist :) instagram.com/caitdo?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
for the first shot and the zoomed in view, were both the key lights needed? could you have used one to get the same effect?
thanks :)
love love love these set ups! Thank you so much for sharing.
I had a question about the fill light in Look 1 - from the video it looks like you have two fills, one bare bulb and one diffused. Both appear to be hitting from roughly the same angle. Is there a reason you decided to use two lights here as the fill? And why one has a modifier and one doesn't? Thanks again
Great question. I started with just the one small white umbrella, but I wanted to add more contrast and pop so that’s why I added a second strobe with a reflector. Now, if I were to reshoot it, I would skip the second strobe as I didn’t love how shiny model’s skin looked in some of the shots when I sat down to edit. Or if I had a more matte make up for this look it would have been ok, but you live and learn!
So so good! Really lovely lighting! What lens do you use for these? Do you have a go-to lens?
Thanks! Yeah majority of my stuff like this is shot on 24-70mm 2.8
@vflatworld needs to sponsor you. You use those Vflats is some very creative ways. Well done!
what is the name of these amovible walls that are blocking the light
You have the best light on UA-cam. Any chance for a retouching video? Would love to see how you get it from the raw format to finished look!
so kind! Tbh I am not the best at retouching so I don’t want to spread wrong info if I do something not correctly, so I would rather leave it up to retouchers who make content on here
@@KarolinaPran do you retouch the finished photos you with the lighting or do you have a retoucher you work with? And do they have a UA-cam channel too? Haha
I am not sure I understand your first question 😄
You have the most informative lighting setup on youtube. I'm going to try the next few days the two light setups with an umbrella. Great work, great aesthetics, great pictures. ❤
So kind, thank you! And I hope your shoot goes well
how powerful are your key lights ? 400W?
800!
@@KarolinaPran Thank you so much for answering all of these , i've started photography because of your videos , i hope to reach your level one day
That is so amazing to hear. Keep it up!
@@KarolinaPran Do you think that 2 or 3 Godox AD600Pro + 2 V-Flats could be a good start for my lighting gear?
For sure. Godox are a great brand in terms of quality and price! And 600 should be enough power as well
