Now like Russia is out of swift not sure for how long, but if russia wants to trade with india without swift, in which currency he would pay/take money. If we both start accepting each other's currency, how that would be of any value? Those are just piece of papers. And this applies to every international transaction with or without swift. I hope you get what I'm trying to ask. I think in this case the traditional system would come in picture like exchange of Gold or other natural resources. Is it true? Like once there were systems of exchanging wheat grains for buying things.
