    The grass is greenest where you water it. Loved that one.

    Great take away man. Find your place and thrive in it.Water your grass and let it grow. Many a greener pasture turned to dry ugly bushes indeed. Thanks skipper. If I may add: I flew the Navajo and Chieftain very briefly. Paid $180 bucks to fly 1 hour with the owner just to log it in y log book, it didn’t help me much. The other time I ferried a Chieftain in East Africa for a friend for free just to build some experience. Whatever you do, avoid paying for ratings and start early and build your way through this career like our Captain here did. Opportunities will come. Just use your time resourcefully to be ready for them when they show up.And do not make life long decisions hastily.Seek wise advice from those in the industry who can help you navigate.Choose what is good for you, your family (if you have one) and for your life style.Do not compare yourself with others.Do not get stuck in one type of plane or operation too long if you reach your saturation point move on. You will know when but avoid frequent chopping and changes.

    See I heard a quote saying "The grass isnt always greener on the otherside." I've also heard on saying "the grass is greener on the other side because its fertilized with a bull's $#^@".🙈🙈
    You are so right though once you find your place you'll be fine.
    Merry Christmas to you as well.

    So it sounds like you got a job right after getting pilots, but I thought you need a commercial license to get paid to fly?

    • @GlobalLife
      @GlobalLife  2 роки тому

      Yes I had my commercial rating coming out of flight school :)

    Bro dont worry about airlines the pay is good but the flying is boring as hell lol

    • @MBa-gd6nm
      @MBa-gd6nm 3 роки тому

      Actually as I see it, pay as well as lifestyle is better than airlines, as I have done both. Certainly Airline theme can get repetitive and monotonous. You just have a more predictable lifestyle and can fly larger aircraft. In Private Aviation Avionics are typically more advanced and we have more latitude and variability on how we fly, even if much smaller aircraft they are leagues of their own from ultra light to the heavies like Bombardier Global products or Gulfstream high end products. More exciting and if with a good and generous boss/employer, you will simply have no reason to crave for the airline world. It also has less passenger headaches or cargo complexities than Airlines. Best decision I ever made was to switch from Airlines, especially so of low cost airlines.I know pilots in premium brand airlines complaining endlessly regarding its lifestyle and fatigue management policy.
