Tom, there are junk metal collectors who will pick up your stuff for free. I'm amazed at the difficult projects you are willing to tackle. Good on you, Tom!
I can’t wait to see the video of your visiting helpers. The boys really helped you a lot in this video. I have no clue what “purloins” are. Something related to the trusses. I’m astounded at myself for watching you do projects. I’m a 73 year old sedentary grandma. My toolbox fits in a small shoebox and includes a small hammer, small pliers, Allen wrench, screwdriver and lots of Command wall thingees.
I love that Corbin wants to work on the mower!! My 17 year old has learned so much taking things apart and fixing them and even learning how things works. I see it as Corbin wanting to be like Daddy!
Tom , I am just astounded at what you can accomplish ! HOW on EARTH did you clear out that shed ? Unbelievable ! You are so knowledgable, sharp, hardworking & focused ! Your videos are never boring ! They are honestly suspenseful ! And fascinating. Great job helping, boys ! Congratulations on all you have accomplished at this property so far ! Absolutely extraordinary ! Cheers from New York ! Liz
My nephew wanted to have a gas station and pump gas himself when he was a kid. He said he wanted his wife to have supper cooked when he came home. It was really sweet and endearing and a total surprise answer to the question had he thought about what he wanted to do when he grew up. He ended up being a landscape architect and loves every minute. He makes good $$ and has a wonderful wife and baby daughter. There is nothing g wrong with owning a junkyard. It may become a more serious thing in years to come as they try to replace everything with electric etc. Anyway that made me think of my nephew! It was so sweet. Good job Tom.
This is so interesting, seeing how big messy areas are cleaned up and seeing the perspective from the cab of a heavy construction machine. Thanks for making and sharing these videos!
Corbin & Gage, Y'all did an awesome job! You're becoming quite the helpers. Learn all you can while you're young from your Dad, Mom, Grandpa's, Grandma's, & Uncle Eric. It will help you in the long run. Tom, You did a great job, too. That building is going to look awesome & much more sturdy when it's done. 😊
Corbin's idea of owning his own junk yard is a good one. He'd be his own boss, potentially create a profitable business, and he'd help people who are decluttering and cleaning up their home by providing a place to deposit the materials they no longer want. He'd be the one who owns the dumpsters people like his dad rent, and he'd be the one scrapping the metal. It's a good and useful gig.
Great progress! You all are amazing and the kids are just rays of sunshine! It encourages me to see what hard workers they are and Tom, your example of how to talk to your children while they are helping you is just wonderful. You give them confidence while also offering advice.
Tom...tell Dawn that I think that she is a very lucky woman to have a husband and father of those two boys...of course you are very lucky too. You teaching them to be hard working is great. I see you tubers doing all work inside and outside their homes by themselves and they have sons that are grown men that are...well never mind. God bless you and your family.
Every time I watch you, I am continually amazed at what and how you do it all. You go Tom. Thanks Corbin and Gage for pitching in and doing so much to help your dad and mom. It was good to see Justin Case.
i think it looks awesome already! i agree with dawn i dont think you could see it but it looks great! i love how you let the kids help you teaches them alot and im sure they enjoy spending time with dad too :)
Corbin sounds just like Tom when it comes to fixing things! We have always had a microwave over our stove and it's been fine! Just glad to have a microwave....and not one on the counter!
Great job. You make the clean up look so easy but I know you are working so hard. I love that your boys are involved. So sweet that they put the flag up. They are awesome! Looking forward to next week.
Love seeing your boys helping and learning. They look like they are enjoying the work. I just learned something new, I had no idea what a purlin was so I googled it. Always nice to learn new things.
Tom! Do you feel like you have a harem "following" you!? I enjoy "watching" you, how ambitious you are and how methodical you are in everything you undertake. BUT I most of all I love how you parent your sons! You are a great dad and I know as a mom of all boys, they do get distracted and really need to be shown how to do something. AND we can all see how Corbin and Gage enjoy being with you!! Well done!
you and the boys have done a lot of work! Amazing! I was in suspense waiting for a wall to fall. Thank goodness none did. I see the poles holding up the wall are pretty substantial. This job is no small one, again, amazing!
Tom, I was thrilled when you said rooooof, and not '' RUF" like my Yooper American friends in Michigan. They will say roof akin to hoof. It sounds strange to us Canucks❤!
The video sequence (starting @10:11) is really neat to see! Part of why I really enjoy these videos is that they inspire me to tackle the unapproachable projects we have on our own property. So ty for sharing all of this.
I love your channel. You do everything exactly like my husband and I used to do when building or remodeling rentals. We put microwaves over stove too.. lol. I miss that so much since he is in heaven now. Thanks for sharing.
Dawn, there's a bee flying around you. I think he thinks you are a bright flower....bahahahaha!!! :) I love Corbin's dream for the future!!!! :) Gage scored!!! :) Demolition fun, so cool!!!! Dream team!!!!! Tom you might not like demolition but you are good at it, along with everything you do!!! Hey you are only one guy!! You are doing amazing and making good and steady progress!!!!! :) Cant wait to see what you come up with Tom!!!
Looking great, like a lot of work, but well worth it in the end. Sorry that happened but better now than after renters were in and getting settled. Praise be! Good job guys, and the boys are doing a terrific job as helping hands. Good little helpers to be sure, and love how they are learning to pitch in with dad and mom at the young age. I love to see families working together at all chores, for the most part, as it's so good for the kids...........they know life also includes work and so forth and so on. Growing up in SD the lay of your land looks alot like our did back in the SF area and rural. It's all grown up now so you are blessed in being rural. Best of luck!!
Corbin is so capable & knowledgeable at such a young age. It will be interesting to see him grow up and accomplish so much as he gets older. He has such an amazing attitude, the way he always wants to help and learn new skills. ☺️
Tom, you are amazing. You sure inspire to face adversity head on w/an attitude of “it is what it is” - to just clear ur throat, adjust & move forward. Your boys are leaders, setting the example for all youth privileged to be watching them. Ur doing great Tom, one problem at a time - one day at a time. 👋🙂👍
What a wonderful video for the boys to have available in the future, they will be so self -sufficient with all the skills they are learning in their Dad and Lads activities! Funny about the junkyard though, little rebel.
Tom, You are making great progress and continue to amaze me. You and Dawn are so supportive of each other as you make your way through your adventures!
You and your hard working boys accomplished so much. Also, a microwave over the stove is an efficient use of space. This is not a chef’s kitchen. Saving the counter space is the best idea. Like watching the progress
Tom amazing work and very satisfying to watch as a viewer. You have made such progress, especially given that you worked on it for the most part by yourself and had to remove the side tin as well as clear all the roof debris. Dawn was so supportive too, she was right you had already achieved a lot at the point she came by to see you. Your boys Corbin and Gage are such a credit to you, so helpful and willing. Let them have the lawnmower if it is at all rescuable, they will have such fun tinkering with it (like father, like sons 👍🏻).
Love your channels, they have become the trigger to get started with my own on stuff on the farm. Coffee and Rusty Judgment at saturday and Minimal mum on Sundays. Keep up the good work, gives me so much inspiration in my life here in Sweden.
Give Corbin the twisted lawnmower and let him have at it! He's working with his hands, learning something and he's not playing Xbox!
Love that ❤

I can relate ! 63 y/o Gramma here with just one small tool drawer in the kitchen lol !
I love that he is getting a following of older non-handy women. I am not handy at all, but I look forward to his videos every Friday.
I love that Corbin wants to work on the mower!! My 17 year old has learned so much taking things apart and fixing them and even learning how things works. I see it as Corbin wanting to be like Daddy!

We did a metal dumpster when we cleaned out my dad’s house. Didn’t cost us anything and they took more than just steel. Was a real stress-reliever.
Man, you did a great job! Tom your worth 5 men and with your sons what a fantastic team you all our 👍👍👍👍👍

I laughed at hearing Corbin’s goal. You have the best helpers with your sons. They are awesome.
I love my microwave above the stove!
Same! I was wondering why people said not to do it.
Are you thinking that this will be a horse barn? Tom your abilities never cease to amaze me. So talented with all of this stuff!!!
The tin roof would be awesome to cover the walls in the bathroom downstairs!!
What a fantastic job you and the boys did! 😮 that is some hard work!! ❤🎉
Great progress! You all are amazing and the kids are just rays of sunshine! It encourages me to see what hard workers they are and Tom, your example of how to talk to your children while they are helping you is just wonderful. You give them confidence while also offering advice.
Well done to your helpers. They’re the hardest working help on the job site!!😂
Tom...tell Dawn that I think that she is a very lucky woman to have a husband and father of those two boys...of course you are very lucky too. You teaching them to be hard working is great. Tom, you're like a machine. Love that your boys are helping you and that Dawn is there giving you encouragement ❤
11:36 "Minimalist family. we don't like keepin' stuff!" I think you started collecting property instead :D
My 2 year old will LOVE watching this demo!!
The bottom of the toy car should have the model & year of the car.
I LOVE my microwave above my stove!!!!
Me too, V. 😊
You and your boys are such good men!!
Corbin sounds just like Tom when it comes to fixing things! We have always had a microwave over our stove and it's been fine! Just glad to have a microwave....and not one on the counter!
Microwaves "should " be above the stove. 100% agree with your decision!
Great job. You make the clean up look so easy but I know you are working so hard. I love that your boys are involved. So sweet that they put the flag up. They are awesome! Looking forward to next week.
Tom, People love that rusty metal for decorating projects. I wish I had the metal you are throwing in the dumpster.
Good morning progress!!!
Love seeing your boys helping and learning. They look like they are enjoying the work. I just learned something new, I had no idea what a purlin was so I googled it. Always nice to learn new things.
Can't wait to see what you come up with to lift trusses!
Tom, you are such a hard worker. I hope you achieve all your goals while your body holds out.
No rusty judgment here! Just a lot of common sense and a good work ethic! So proud of you and your boys for being willing to tackle such big jobs!
Can Tom do it? Yes he can!!!
Tom! Do you feel like you have a harem "following" you!? I enjoy "watching" you, how ambitious you are and how methodical you are in everything you undertake. Really liking your videos. You have such good helpers! Mrs.Steve
Yeah - I've been clicking on your channel for days! Missed my weekly dose last Friday.
That was a huge undertaking! Great work!
you and the boys have done a lot of work! Amazing! I was in suspense waiting for a wall to fall. Thank goodness none did. I see the poles holding up the wall are pretty substantial.
This job is no small one, again, amazing!
Tom, you're a super hero!❤🎉🎉🎉
Tom, I was thrilled when you said rooooof, and not '' RUF" like my Yooper American friends in Michigan. They will say roof akin to hoof. It sounds strange to us Canucks❤!
You made a lot of progress. Can't wait for next week's video. From your 64-year-old lady fan in Nebraska.
You are a human dynamo!!! Wow, you are a powerhouse of initiative and determination. Good job with your boys. They have a great role model in you.
You are the hardest working man I know. Dawn’s got a keeper!
The video sequence (starting @10:11) is really neat to see! Part of why I really enjoy these videos is that they inspire me to tackle the unapproachable projects we have on our own property. So ty for sharing all of this.
Tom you have the cutest helpers ever!! Gage and Corbin are precious and growing so fast. Blessings from east Texas😊
I was waiting for Friday's video- Another interesting project!
I like the camera angle while you’re working, it’s like I’m the one doing it 😂
I love your channel. You do everything exactly like my husband and I used to do when building or remodeling rentals. We put microwaves over stove too.. lol. I miss that so much since he is in heaven now. Thanks for sharing.

(5:50pm Sat) OH Tom I know you're repurposing any of those 4x4s & 2x4s! PS I'm the daughter of a junk yard owner, it's a wonderfully satisfying life!
You’re doing great! Fascinating to see the process.
Looking great, like a lot of work, but well worth it in the end. Sorry that happened but better now than after renters were in and getting settled. Praise be!

Corbin is so capable & knowledgeable at such a young age. It will be interesting to see him grow up and accomplish so much as he gets older. He has such an amazing attitude, the way he always wants to help and learn new skills. ☺️
Gage is a great helper, too. 😁❤️🙏
Love watching your videos. Thanks for the content. Miss Minnesota - but only in spring, summer, and fall.
You are so blessed with all your children😍🤩. You are such a hard worker Tom!

You work so hard on your own Tom. Such a hard worker
That’s is absolutely the coolest seeing the roof being picked up and lifted away and all the stuff below!
Me and my mom absolutely love this channel! I'm 33 and love working and tackling projects. You are honestly killing it and very inspirational!
Wow! That was great!!! Well done, everyone!
My FIL owned a junkyard in northern CA & did very well. Probably the land, more than the junk was what helped sell it when he passed
Impressive Tom.
Wow...that place was like a bunch of pick-up sticks!😳 Looking forward to seeing what you do with that place.
Looking forward to seeing the completed building 👀 I love that the boys like helping!
Tom, call your local fire dept. They will come & burn it as practice. A case of 24 is always accepted!
If they do this, please film it. That would be such a fun video!
@@flightlessphoenix77 I had a small farm in Wisconsin & when we remodeled the house piled up the burnable stuff and they were happy to come.
Wow what a super idea !
Great job, Tom and boys.👍❤️
I was on the edge of my seat while you were pulling that metal off the side wall, glad it went smoothly. Gage and Corbin are some good little helpers!
You and your hard working boys accomplished so much. Also, a microwave over the stove is an efficient use of space. This is not a chef’s kitchen. Saving the counter space is the best idea. Like watching the progress

Great glasses
I have an over stove microwave with fan, and I absolutely love it .
I love your little helpers. They completely upstage you! Just sayin'.....
Great work! Thanks for sharing!
Love your channels, they have become the trigger to get started with my own on stuff on the farm. Coffee and Rusty Judgment at saturday and Minimal mum on Sundays. Keep up the good work, gives me so much inspiration in my life here in Sweden.
Great job Tom & boys 👍
awesome progress!! Your boys are such a great help!!!! Love that you all work together!!!!
Just be glad Corbin has plans! Give him the mower to play with
This was a great video! I really liked the time lapse with you and your boys cleaning up! Very motivational to get up and get to it!! Thanks!
Tom- your channel may be called Rusty Judgment, but…
I truss you. ✊😄❤️
Great job
I like my microwave above the stove
I'm exhausted just watching this video, these are go big or go home projects! lol
You are a planner!
