After This scene I was hooked.
On their return to Banister's office, Guy Banister and Jack Martin got into a dispute. Banister believed that Martin had stolen some files and drew his .357 Magnum revolver, striking Martin with it several times. Martin was badly injured and treated at Charity Hospital. When questioned about the incident in December 1977 by investigators for the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA), Martin said that in the heat of the argument just before the pistol-whipping he had said to Banister: "What are you going to do - kill me like you all did Kennedy?"
Bannister was a G-Man for the FBI and ONI. Serious business

He definitely was heavily involved AND IT WAS IMPLIED IN THIS FILM many times!!! Unfortunately for Mr. Bannister, looks like he was “silenced” for getting to cocky in his “victory” and starting to blab way too much!!

Oswald may of been a "Sheep dipped" "Redskin". A "sheep dip" is someone who on paper got out of the government (he was in the Marines, Francis Powers, pilot if crashed U2 spyplane blamed LHO in his memoirs. Oswald was a "radar technician" at Atsugi when the crash happened) but in reality they are a secret agent, and "red skin" was the term used for a secret agent who develope a "legend" (a fake identity) as a communist. Oswald worked in Minsk Belarus to appear as a communist but Belarus was a major hub of the Nazi-CIA Gehlen Organizations "white russian" (Anti communist/pro Nazi Russians). Oswalds office for 'Fairplay for Cuba' was shared by Guy bannister, former station chief of the Chicago FBI, Ruby was mob from Chicago.

Truly excellent acting. All actors made wonderful job in this movie. If David Ferrie had lived and seen himself played by Joe Pesci, he would have been shocked. Additionally, in this movie, it is emphasized that David Ferrie lives with mice in his house and conducts cancer experiments on these mice. Just like Doctor Mary Sherman, who was the victim of a mysterious and terrible murder in the same period.

Oliver Stone's "JFK" is a great movie -- and a horrible piece of fiction. It gets all the facts wrong, and tries to "prove" a conspiracy that never existed. According to the New Orleans police reports, Guy Banister pistol-whipped Jack Martin because he found out that Martin had been using the office phones to make long-distance telephone calls (which were expensive back then) to his bookies in New York City.
There's no evidence that Guy Banister ever met Lee Harvey Oswald. Jim Garrison's only source for that information was Jack Martin, who was a notorious drunkard and pathological liar. Also, there's no evidence that Guy Banister was ever involved with the CIA or Naval Intelligence, as Garrison claimed. Bannister was a retired FBI agent, and had nothing to do with Operation Mongoose. For that matter, neither did Lee Harvey Oswald, who was far too young to be a CIA agent.
The actual facts speak for themselves. Oswald acted alone. Oliver Stone's movie is a well-made crock!
The only crock are those who worship the Warren Commission. Open your eyes, Oswald was a Patsy and Ruby was ordered to kill him. The government and mob were totally involved.
