Just wanted to say thanks for posting this information. We crossed at Tecate this morning, and your video was super helpful. We knew exactly where to go, thank you!
My grandma crossed my uncle into the u.s when i was 10 years old it was super easy we asked if we can go to payless which was rite next to the border when we crossed the u.s my uncle got in the truck n we left home thank you for this video
This is the crossing that we’re going to use sometime next month. Did the grumpy guy speak any English or was everyone right pretty much Spanish only? Our Spanish is horrible but we’re trying to learn lol
Did the walk thru and on return to the US Customs gave this US citizen born and raised in NY a hard time and detained me. That’s after walking into Mexico and officials not even giving me a second look. A dog and pony show for sure. Got great tacos while in Mexico. Walk thru and make a left at the first light and boom a nice open restaurant and it’s BYOB. Got Tecate beers for us and the restaurant staff right across the street.
What insurance did you provide to Mexican officials. I heard you have to purchase Mexican insurance before you cross the border? Idk if that's true for all Mexican border crossings.
We had no issues, so our experience says yes. Best plan is to never ride at night - between the potholes, animals, speed bumps, pedestrians, unlit vehicles and drunks the risk isn't worth the reward.
In British Columbia we don't have what you call a title, only registration. They wanted the original. I told them that what I handed them was original and they accepted that.
Awesome , i cross tommorow , very helpfull thank you very much ...

Too the point. Very educational. Thank you!
Thank you for the Canadian content. Much appreciated!
No problem, eh!
You were not kidding about the metal half domes “baby heads” 😵💫 wow.
It won't be the last time you see them in Mexico!

Yes, he did speak some English as I remember. As long as you're humble and try your best you should be fine.
Sounds good, we definitely try to stay humble as we can! Thank you for the info and hope you continue to have safe travels!!
It's easier to fill out and pay for your FMM online. Take the printed-out form AND receipt to the guy in the little office to stamp. Saves some steps.

Your such a good citizen. Nobody ever buys permits etc to be in Mexico.
I guess we hang with a different crowd! We didn't want problems crossing from La Paz to Topolobampo.
Thanks for the info buddy I'm thinking about taking a bus does a bus go through there
Sorry, that I don't know.
A bus does go to the Tecate border rt 894?

We don't recall having to show the insc we bought online when we entered Mexico.
Is Highway 3 to Ensenada from Tecate safe?
