Stanley Yeti Lead Test Face Off between Stanley, Yeti, a french press and a kids cup. Which Will Pass, and Which Will fail the lead test. Lead test - amzn.to/3vWkVg1
The led is not inside the cup! It’s on the bottom outside!!! Not harmful if the seal is not removed, but people believe it can sip through the cup…almost impossible!
Swabs are not good to use. Better is a fluorescent light test or one of those guns. Light and spray is like 50 but the guns are like several thousand? Wouldn’t trust the swabs as they react to pretty much everything acidic.
The vacuum sealed tumblers are double walled. Even if you drop it and managed to compromise the vacuum seal, the lead used to seal the underside of the cup is still on the outer wall and would not be in your water.
I appreciate the test. I dont care about lead on the outside of the cup. But if there is some inside that is a problem.
You still don't want to touch lead.
It's a problem if it's present, either way.
ty so no led ?
There should be no lead contact to the consumer period.
“ kids China no- name cup”😂
All of those are made in china
Also get more positives testing the bottom inside the cups

Look up a news story about it, explains the lead process used to make the vaccume seal.
What if you drop it
So why is it testing positive from the inside 😂
Some test positive and some don’t. I’m talking inside the cup along seam and threads. 💯 positive

And what if it goes through the dishwasher with the plug cap off and you give your toddler food off it?
@@PeterCharlesworth then hand wash it only
But you may inadvertently put it in dishwasher or the lead powder can come in contact with your hands. It can be just as dangerous.
@@WhyitJellyDonutpoint here is that this is not something that should be coming in contact with surfaces that you or your family/drink off of.
I tested my yeti rambler and it turned the swab dark red. 🤨
Swabs aren’t good ways of testing. They will turn red with oranges too
Take the plug off the bottom of the Stanley
