- In 1979, Malcolm McDowell shed his bad-boy persona to star in the time-travel thriller Time After Time, and in a new interview with me, he explains why the project is one of his favorites and reveals that he was a bit surprised to be chosen to play the hero.
Mary Steenburgen has a strong resemblance to Kate Bush it's uncanny...........
Always thought that too.
That’s never occurred to me. Spot on.
I showed clips of Kate Bush to my mother, just after watching the film with her. She said they could've been twins. It is freaky.
I REMEMBER WHEN THIS MOVIE CAME OUT I WAS FLOORED AND AN INSTANT FAN AND IVE WATCHED IT COUNTLESS TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND I STILL GET CHILLS EXCITED TERRIFIED AND MESMERIZED WITH THE REALISTIC POWERFUL ENCHANTING SPOT PORTALS OF THEASE WORLDWIDE SUPER STAR LIVING LEGENDS
Get me a Big Mac, fries
and tea to go, please.
LOL!! that is the line that as a child made me smile...
The first part in a Brooklyn accent....

I love this flick. Watched it dozens of times when it was on rotation on HBO in the early 80's.
Yes so did I
Wish they would stream it on Tubi👍
I love this movie so much. Watched it a bunch of times as a kid. So cool to know he met his wife there.
One of my favourite movie...
Fascinated by this movie as a kid....back to the future is a love letter to it
Long live to Malcolm McDowell 👏👑❤🗽
Shame it didn't work, but they are both happy now.
I love Mr.McDowelll's performance as H.G.Wells in this romantic, sci-fi thriller..Where..He go forward into time, foils the villain and wins the girl.
Young mary steenburgen ♡♡♡♡

0:08 Nov. 5 - same date as in Back To The Future.
That's because Back to the future is tribute to this movie
I rented this movie on VHS in 1989 and bought the DVD in an old-fashioned snap case in 2001. I must have watched it about 20 times. Great movie.
He'll always be little Alex to me.
In Time After Time McDowell is given a chance to show more acting range, than he's normally allowed in his roles-usually cartoon villains.
This is also how Cyndi Lauper got the idea of the title for her song late night flipping through the channels and stumbled upon the movie Time After Time
For me, the second best time travel movie of all time. (The Time Machine - 1960) is number one.
I thought this movie was pretty good I enjoyed it throughly.
TIME AFTER TIME and the the STAR TREK connection: McDowell, Warner and Meyer.
And San Francisco!
It's only a love story to Malcolm, to me it's Jack the Ripper
I had to take a second look at your name. I thought it read David Warner.
me too.
With all due respect to Mr.McDowell.."Singing In The Rain"was never filmed at Warner Bros. in Burbank,Cal...It was filmed at MGM in Culver City,Cal.
On the nose right.
Of course the lamp post fell, that’s Karma for ruining the song Malcolm!
the ripper was not revealed becausae the monarchy are protecting
I love this movie and Malcolm McDowell did an outstanding job playing H. G. Wells, nobody can play that role but Mr. McDowell
Beautiful romantic movie.
What a giant in entertainment!
