I have both so I can't complain
You cannot tell the difference between the Xbox One or PS4, I have played both on 1080p screens and they look the same. The Playstation controller has a slightly better feel to it, but the Xbox One controller feels familiar. The games are good for both systems, again, I prefer the exclusives toward Xbox One, like Halo. Playstation is a bland console that takes little to no risks on design choices. Xbox One however, runs smoother than the Playstation. The Xbox One Kinect is very good for voice controls, nothing else though. These two consoles are basically the same damn thing, and if a Sony/Xbox fanboy tells you differently, they are lying out of their ass. Just pick the console you want, if it has better exclusives or your friends are buying it, then go ahead. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and buy what you want.

I have both and i also have a 1080p screen. There are very few games that you can't see much of a difference. You must be playing on a very small tv.

Cristian Hernandez Probable because PlayStation was the first to have the rechargeable batteries embedded within the controller. Therefore, if Microsoft were to do the same they would have to get permission from Sony or risk of being sued by them for stealing their idea without acknowledging them. I could be completely wrong about everything i just mentioned.

Ps4: don't have to buy batteries, don't have to install every game you buy, ps4 looks cool, xbox one controller is uncomfortably big, ps4 graphics are better, xbox one costs more, you can use multiple hard drives on ps4, with playstation plus you can get free games free dlc and play online, xbox one is heavier, ps4 has awesome exclusive games, ps4 is quicker, you can record gameplay by pressing one button and it's easier to use and not so complicated.
I'm sorry to tell you that you need to look up facts... Its not 2013 anymore... Xbox runs games on 1080p like ps4 does, they started selling xbox one without kinnect, and they will soon start selling only kinnect, i like the controllers of both xbone and ps4, plus ur bitching about how u need to buy batteries on xbox controller, its true, but you can buy rechargable battery, therefore ps4 has rechargable battery already BUT if something happens to it you have to buy a whole new controller or try to replace it urself by risking damaging the controller. Im not going to start a war here so i think people should buy the system that more appeals to to them. ( sorry for bad english)

They started selling withought a kinect because its a fail.Its CPU is 8 CORE AMD Custom CPU frequency 1.75 GHz That can barely run games at 1080p if the xbox one plays games on 1080p its slow and lags sometimes.

This is why I chose PS4 over Xbox one. You have to pay subscription fees on Xbox one in order to stream UA-cam videos while on PS4 you can watch UA-cam videos for completely free without paying any fees. Plus you get more free features on PS4 such as Spotify music and TV shows. I am so happy that I have a PS4 system at home.

I don't know if it's just me but Halo and Destiny look a lot a like both in gameplay and design. I mean Bungie made them both and they both take place in space so that's pretty obvious. Anyways Ps4 gets better exclusivity in Destiny but Xbox One gets Halo. It comes down to which you rather have. *cough ps4 cough*

I think most people refuse to admit that Xbox 1 is better than PS4 simply because many of us grew up playing PlayStation and want to stay loyal, but Xbox 1 is just way more interesting than ps4 and way more computerized u can run 2 apps at the same time, it has voice command which u can use to select apps, play discs, and turn off the system and other stuff.

I run Netflix and play battlefield so I don't know why you would say it cant run 2 apps. And the ps4 doesn't look like a 90's cable box and still has a power brick AND still has 720 AND you can't upgrade storage to 1000 GB Like the ps4. So yeah the ps4 wins.

I think in the end I'm going to get the Xbox One. It's exclusive titles are really cool to me, the storage issue isn't going to be much of a problem since I'm a casual, and the controller/Kinect features are really interesting!

The Xbox One was not made by the same people that made the original Xbox or Xbox 360. It was made by Microsoft's entertainment division which is the main problem with the console, that's why I traded mine for the PS4. Xbox One's dashboard is a bloated mess, slow, lethargic and geared towards entertainment. They need to completely revamp the UI and make it a more gaming friendly, social experience like the 360 and PS4. It shouldn't feel like your stranded on a deserted island when playing on the Xbox One. They need to offer a service like PlayStation Plus, give an incentive to pay for gold instead of forcing it on people. Make the features available to all instead of putting everything behind a pay wall. Drop the price and fix the controller, they made it worse then the Xbox 360's controller not better. After they've correct all this I'll pick one back up. THESE are the main problems right now.

It disgusts me to see previous Xbox 360 owners switch to a PlayStation 4 as in the past many of them have been talking bad about PlayStation and how they think Xbox is the superior console. But guess what; now, they're jumping on the PlayStation bandwagon. I disdain, loathe, and despise all of you who don't have a reason on why you switched to PlayStation now instead of staying with Xbox as you claim that you're a "loyal" Xbox fan. To all those respectful Xbox players who have stayed with Xbox or switch to PlayStation for very good reasons, I have no complaints to say.

PS4 is more powerful and cheaper. Xbox will be a better multi-tasking machine because of its TV PIP but most new TV's come with a lot of multitasking functions but really I could careless about playing a game and watching TV at the same time. You aren't forced to buy the camera on PS4 like this gimmicky Kinect thing that I'm sure almost no hardcore gamer will ever use so why force me to buy it. I have watched many reviews of the Kinect and who wants to yell at your console to turn it on and move around the interface. There will be exclusives on the Xbox that I wish I could play but might have to wait a few years to play them if I ever decide to get an xbox. I agree with tapo and the attitude towards developers and gamers. Microsoft's 180 on their policies saved them a massive spanking from Sony but still turned off a bunch of gamers. Both consoles will have cool exclusives but you heard what the reviewer said about the video cards. DDR5 makes a huge difference when it comes to graphical horse power so the PS4 is capable of creating games that the Xbox One couldn't run properly. Xbox does have a slightly faster cpu but that's not enough to make up for the power of DDR5. The fact you have to put batteries in a controller in the 21st century is a joke. Its pretty annoying when my controller just dies on me in the middle of a game. The controllers should have come with the detachable recharge pack and that would be perfect. My friend never had to replace any of his PS3 controllers because of battery and it even warns him when his battery is getting low so he just plugs it in and keeps playing. Yearly subscription is cheaper than Xbox. How many more reasons would you like? The ONLY reason to buy an Xbox is for their exclusives in my opinion and that's it. Only time will tell who has the better games and "better" is pretty subjective. I'm sure most of the Xbox gamers had good reasons to change to PS4 PlazaFest. I am one of those gamers.

I agree with most of what he says. I went with the Xbox one and strongly considering getting the PS4 also. My son has the PS4 and he loves it. It does not have the total experience the Xbox has with the voice controls which they really enhanced but they do seem to have a lot more free to play games and crisper graphics to my eye. I am pretty much stuck here the day after Christmas with a Xbox one that can pretty much only do voice commands and only do fantasy football via the NFL network which I do yahoo on. A lot of reviewers here to not mention this, they do not get into the details which is unfortunate or maybe the issue is legal stuff but I am an average consumer so I can say what I want. The one thing that is concerning is that the triggers on the PS4 my son has have started to wear off. The PS4 went with rubber and it is coming off of his controller. He got the PS4 on launch so that is just a little over 1 and a half months ago. He said that there are covers you can get for them but I think that is an inconvenience and more money out of the pocket. All in all I expected more from both systems after having to wait so long for there creation. Portability anyone? did anyone talk about that? My son brings his PS4 with him in his backpack to his friends house and with him to work, I do not see how he would do that with an Xbox one. Oh well...we will see what next year brings.

Nobody talked about having no vents, just a wiser location. Dust gets into the console way more than vents to the side of it. It wont be long before they are completely obstruct by dust. Yeah I know you can clean it, but most of it will be inside of the console and will be more likely to overheat

Most of the PC cases have vents on back and on the sides. When your console is idle the dust will enter it and you can't even open it to clear it since it will void the warranty
I certainly do and everyone i know have vents on top of their rigs. The dust will enter the console anyway, aslong as there are vents and a fan, it doesnt make any difference where the vent it. There will be dust anyway.
People dont relaize having a rechargeable controller is way better. After you're done playing just charge it over night. Not to mention. In a few weeks or months you would have spent around the same amount on batteries instead of just buying a new controller lol

depends on if there are any exclusives on xboxone you'd rather play than exclusives on the ps4, or vise versa. if there arent any games you would switch your console for, there is no point in exchanging. Well, actually another reason you might switch would be that you have friends on ps4 that you want to play with more than friends on xboxone, or if the extra $10 a year for online (if you use online) is something you would rather save.

The main reason I like ps4 is that it has TONS of free to play games.
For all you Xbone fanboys the PS4 is more powerful (specs wise) than the Xbone. Plus PS4 users can record up to 15 min of gameplay, on the other hand the Xbone can record 5 min of gameplay. Playstation plus is $50 for a year and you get full (new) games for free for PS3, VITA, and PS4 every month, on the other hand Xbox live gold is $60 for a year and you can't access most of the features without Xbox live gold. The PS4 UI (User Interface) is much more beautiful than the xbone's UI. The PS4's controller has a headphone jack, touch pad, and a share button, on the other hand Xbone's controller is basically the same as the 360's controller. So for all you Xbone fanboys saying the Xbone is better, it's not, the PS4 is far more much better.
So if we are Xbox fanboys then you must be a Ps4 fanboy.

Sure, that's cool and all, but PS4 has literally one good exclusive imo, and that's second son, which i got a chance to play through over the past week by borrowing my friends console. Outside of that, if i had a ps4, i couldn't envision myself using it very much. Its exclusives don't interest me. Whereas on my Xbox, I have Titanfall, Killer Instinct, and Dead Rising, none of which i'm tired of yet. Let's face it.. outside of exclusives they are the same. They will both have Watch Dogs, they will both have Arkham Knight, they will both have Destiny. NO point in trying to put one over the other. It is all preference.

Stop saying xbox 1 is crap! PS4 has just slightly better harware, but the difference in games is UNNOTICABLE. Xbox 1 can also do waaayy more than the ps4, it has kinect with it in the price, the xbox controller is better etc etc. Sure PS4 can do some things too, but xbox 1 can do wayyyy more: TV, Kinect gestures and voice commands, Skype, anti-jerk servers, so yeah, in my opinion, xbox 1 wins.

Dude, the Xbox controller is better. I don't give a shit about dualshock 4 and the useless touch screen, the xbox controller is more ergonomic and that's what really matters.
Now, graphics are better on PS4, but you can't really see the difference.
BTW, I know ps4 has voice control too, but xbox 1 has a greater variety of word commands, so it wins too. Also, Xbox one has a lower temperature, since the hardware has a greater space between each other, allowing better air-flow.

That it would be so terrible. Then I got my hands on the Master Race. Never looked back. Mouse is superior in every way. Is way more comfortable and having a keyboard with so many more buttons to play around with makes it the perfect gaming platform. I guess that's why Consoles don't/can't handle some genres.
