      @@elliotgustavson9913 Horse origami is way harder than origami butterfly. At least with origami butterfly, you won't have to deal with complicated bending and you can actually follow the instructions immediately because the folding process is simple.

    This is actually a very simple design. I really do appreciate the vocal instructions and two-sided/two coloured paper concept for the tutorial. The only downside to the butterfly is that it can be slightly punishing if the folds aren't 100% lined up. Thank you for the help!

    Oh man, I'm thinking about showing this to some kids in a class I teach. I have to say, the verbal instructions are super clear, and the fact that you drew lines on the paper means this is super easy to follow.

    When I started this vid, You're instructions were so good! I was like, "Omg This is explained so much better than the other vids"! I was like "I am so subscribing right now!" I think I might actually make a successful origami that looks better than paper crafts made by 2 yr olds (What ALL my crafts look like) So Thanks so much!!!

    Thank you - have just completed two of your tutorials as a beginner and they are excellent. They're particularly easy to follow along with and I find it much easier to observe and mimic than translate instructions from a book!

    Anyone having trouble their heart video helped me SO much just learning about lines, etc. Slowing down the speed via UA-cam is helpful too.

    As soon as I hit the like button, the number of likes went from 1.3K to 1.4K! This is so much easier to follow along rather than copying things off of a book.     Very nice tutorial Evan :) I've not seen this one before but as you mention, it's ideal for teaching beginners. The harmony paper you used for the video thumbnail looks really good on this too, I'd be interested to see how other patterns come out as well :)

    Looks a lot easier with the 6 inch square, rather than my 1 1/2 inch square 😂. Brilliant instructions though and I’m happy with my tiny butterfly 🦋

    Great video really well explained i got confused some times because i was really focused on making the butterfly but it was not the video's fault, its the first time i do origami and i cant fold paper properly but still turned out great!

    I’m currently doing an art project where I need to make about 30 of these friggin things and this tutorial is perfect it’s pretty simple and straightforward but still looks like a butterfly and I can appreciate this being one of the only with actually words

    I have been recovering for a year from a stroke that paralyzed my Dominant hand so I decided to find models that are simple enough to do without my left hand while looking good enough to be satisfying, with good enough directions to not be frustrating.

    Nice video! Just questioning, but do you have any variations on any of your flowers/kusudamas? Sorry if I'm mistaken. And also, when will be the next time you'll have a "piece" of origami that is difficult, like ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? Sorry if I'm mistaken again.

      Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying my channel! I used harmony paper for the butterfly in the thumbnail, but standard kami or tant would probably work well too!

    I am very bad at folding paper. my first origami was terrible,and took me an hour to complete, with 3 tries. this took my two tries, and 15-20 mins. thank you very much
