    Thank you so much for this video!! You have no idea how much time you’ve saved me. The instructions that came with my kids bike would’ve confused a mechanic. This video was so detailed and easy to follow. A lifesaver.

      Agree...I got a 30 page booklet that was generic enough to install 20 different bikes

    At 3:20, isn’t the tab on the washer supposed to go in the small hole above the dropout?

    When I grasp the brake the pads tighten to the wheel but when i release the brake lever only one of the pads comes away from the wheel.
    How do I get them to both come away the same amount?

    Thank you, this is helpful for any general bycicle assembly ...those manuals are so vague and complicated to read😂

    Did anyone have an issue with the pedals falling off? I tried to tighten them with a wrench but they keep coming unscrewed while she’s biking

    I have the same bike but the wheels don’t move freely..the bearings are like restricting..any thoughts about that?

    • @chrisbike
      @chrisbike  6 місяців тому +1

      Check that the brakes are not touching the wheel. Also check that the skewers are correctly placed into the chewers and tightened

    Thanks for the video. I know you mentioned not to touch the front screw of brake but my kids brake assembly is wobbly. When braked, one side gets stuck and doesn’t retract. Sometimes the whole assembly moves. I will refer manual. But somebody has a solution, it will be great to know.

    After assembling kid's bike.. however rear wheel is not moving symmetrical..any suggestions how to fix it?

    • @chrisbike
      @chrisbike  11 місяців тому +1

      I know I'm a bit late on a reply, hoping I can help others who have the same issue. Make sure the wheel is seated all the way into it's spot from both sides
