    • TIPS!

    Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in! This video is a bit different from what I usually upload over the channel. I'm currently focused on a new course that is coming up very soon but to not leave you guys without any content, I decided to share this post-production process in Photoshop.
    The model is in Sketchup and it was rendered in Vray. I used only the basic materials that come with the Vray library. Then I imported all render + render channels to Photoshop to start working on the post-production.
    I hope you enjoy it!
    The project is from the Architecture office:

    OU Graphics has changed to Upstairs! The channel is still managed by the same people, we're just improving the identity.

    Nice video Oliver, but why do so many people prefer to use 1 or 2 hours of Photoshop to edit 1 view when it is possible to render many more views after putting the same time in skp and lumion ?

    • @LearnUpstairs
      @LearnUpstairs  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks 99 99! Alejandro pointed a few important things that people consider when creating architectural images.
      But for me the main things are identity, personality and who's this image for. I think lumion is a powerful tool, but it doesn't allow that much customization. So your image ends up looking like someone else's image. I don't see that as a big problem, but I like to go over photoshop to apply my style.
      And lastly, sometimes the amount of time needed to set up a render to display everything you wanted in the image might take almost the same time as doing it in post.
      Well that's what I think. I hope I could clear your question. But at the end of day you should find your own workflow and see what works or not for you, your client, professor and so on 😄

    Love it as usual 👏🏼 still love the udemy corse you did. One question though, how do you find such good images to work with? I always struggle on google image search (set to advanced search of 4mbp or above)

    • @LearnUpstairs
      @LearnUpstairs  4 роки тому +4

      Thanks Mike! 🙏
      That's indeed a really tough step during post-production. I gotta say that it took me at least 20 minutes to find the one I used on the video. 😅
      The advanced search you mentioned is definetly important! But I also like to use Google image's upload search. So I either upload an image that is similar to whats I'm looking for or if I found something that was almost what I was looking for, I right click on it and choose "look for similar images" (something like that)
      I hope that helps you out!

      For sure! We have am active discount over the Architecture Visualization course. Check the video description. But for this upcoming course, there will also be coupons from time to time. We create content especially for students, so we understand that we have to be accessible to everyone.
