POV: Visiting Tommy in Exile / Dream SMP Minecraft Ambience

- You go to visit Tommy in Logstedshire while he is in exile, and try to help him cheer up! The two of you hang out while he expands his territory and builds. Eventually, the two of you head out to meet up with Dream, who is acting suspiciously friendly. Towards the end of the day, the two of you return to the base and discover a surprise guest waiting to greet you!
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well, and I wanted to thank you all for over 3000 subscribers!! It’s quite a huge number, which makes me a little nervous, but hello to all you new people!! I’m glad you enjoy the content!! This one was another outdoor one, which makes me want to do an indoor one next as I miss the reverb lol. It was also a bit all over the place timeline wise, but I hope it still makes sense!!

I feel like i'm really involving myself in the SMP, but at the same time, when Tommy and Dream were talking, I was just imagining myself standing still there ingame like " Well, this is awkward. This is- I feel awkward, this is awkward.".
I was worried that some people might feel a little awkward... it's hard to involve a POV in every conversation especially when the conversation originally took place with only two people...so I try to just immerse the viewer as much as I can with surrounding audio and get them involved in one on one conversations. I'm sorry you felt awkward, and I hope you were still able to relax a bit at other parts!! :))
@@devwrlds Oh! In that case, don't fret! Cause I found it quite relaxing!! In hindsight, it was more so I was really immersed into the scene, because of the acting and also the joy you genuinely lace into these ambiences, that I was literally just imagining myself in these scenes, it's just that I couldn't comprEHEND being in these situations which made me feel awkward, but that's just my own fault. So really, it's just a really REALLY good job on your part!! Thank you for this, I say this from the bottom of my heart cuz I enjoyed this so much ^-^

Whenever I hear dream smp ambience, I think of all the viewers as spectators, these ghosts who cannot be seen by ANYBODY except other viewers. But can talk sometimes, like donations voices or weird stuff chat says. When l’manberg blew up for the last time I think of hundreds of people around the crater of once was a country, some comforting others some crying or some emotionless. Viewers can travel anywhere, just not more than 100 blocks away from the streamer they are spectating from, do with my imagination info what you will

You: It looks good though, just needs a little bit of work!

Tommy: Why are you here? Every time you’ve been here you’ve done something destructive.
Dream: I wh- I- I have never done anything destructive.. everything’s been fine! I haven’t destroyed anything.
*Tommy: Why are you-*
Dream: I’m.. visiting you!
(9:40) Tommy: Well- The last time you said that.. you ruined me.
Dream: I- How did I “ruin” you? *barges in between you and Tommy*
(9:47) Tommy: What’re you doing?!
You: He just-
Tommy: What I’m gonna do is I’m gonna uh..
Dream: I wa- Wh- Why don’t you build- Here, you know what Tommy? I’ll do you a favour, you know what-
Tommy: N- No- You-
Dream: This makes it.. easy-
Tommy: What’re you doing?
Dream: An even quicker way to get back.
Tommy: But, we already have a portal!
Dream: Yeah but, this one is even closer to your..
Tommy: But it’s gonna mess up all the links and stuff.
Dream: No it won’t! I promise!
Tommy: *smiles* M’kay..
Dream: Here, I’ll go break the other one while you set this thing up.

You: At least you have a closer portal.
(10:18) Tommy: But I liked where that one was..
You: *shrugs*
Dream: Well, it’s just.. far. You said- You said the reason people won’t come is because of how far it is, so.. this’ll just make it even closer, so there’s no excuse that they don’t come and visit you.
(10:30) Tommy: ..You know what Dream? I recon you’re right!
(10:34) Tommy: Dream, have you ever uh.. been on a boat or sailed? I re- You seem like the type of guy that would drown.
Dream: What?
Tommy: *laughs and waves at you to stay put*
You: *waves back and sits down on the field*
*voices fade out*
You: *sigh*
(11:50) Dream: Oh! No.. No..
*footsteps become louder*
(11:53) Tommy: Really?
Dream: Yeah!
You: *looks up at the two people now towering over you*
(12:01) Dream: Uh.. maybe they’re running late?
You: *whispers* Late for what?
(12:05) Tommy: I’m sure they said that they’ll be over by the day.... time.
Dream: *stretches* Why don’t we.. make the best of it until people do show up! We can do something. We can uh.. prepare more maybe. *gestures to the poorly decorated area*
(12:19- 12:24) You: Please do decorate, the area is looking a bit.. boring.
Tommy: *glares down at you*
(12:25) Dream: I- I thought I was late so, I’m surprised people aren’t here but-
You: I’m right here.
*Dream: *pats your head* You’re not the major problem right now.*
You: *swats his hand away* Thanks.. I guess.
(12:32) Tommy: Oh..
(12:39) Tommy: ...Well I guess we can eat.. *helps you up*
You: Maybe some cake? *you pull a container closer to you and take off the lid*
(12:45) Dream: A cake? I’m not hungry.
(12:49 - 12:58) You: Weirdo, just have a slice. *cuts cake*
(12:58) Dream: Cut a slice.
You: No please?
*Dream: ..Please.*
(13:02) Tommy: I’ll just thirst my appetite...
You: Okay, I didn’t even make this cake. You, *points blade at Tommy* don’t know if it’s bad or not.
*Tommy: Put the f^cking knife down.*
You: *resumes cutting the cake*
(13:59) Tommy: What do we do now?
You: Eat? *places cake slices in front of the two*
(14:07) Tommy: Why’s no one here then?
Dream: Wa- I- I.. maybe they were- maybe they were.. busy and it wasn’t as important or something. They had something more important.. planned.
Tommy: What could be more- *ruffles hair roughly* W- Was there anything on?
Dream: I.. I mean I don’t- I don’t think so.
You: Calm down, I’m pretty sure Tubbo may show up.
*Tommy: You mean the f^cker who sent me here in the first place?!*
*Tommy starts pacing back and forth*
(14:33) Tommy: No one cares about me anymore..
You: Tommy..
Dream: That’s not.. true-
Tommy: No one cares about me.
*You and Dream awkwardly stand beside each other*
(14:40) Tommy: And.. none of them care about me anymore. Because I’m not in L’Manburg anymore! ‘Cause I’m not with- ‘Cause I’m not the Vice President!
You: That’s not true! Tubbo has a compass and he keeps it on him at all times.
(15:02) Tommy: Why- What’s everyone saying about “Tubbo’s compass?” Didn’t- What- What is that? What is- explain to me.
You: It’s-
Dream: UH.. I- I’m pretty sure that he burnt it or something, or he lost it, I don’t think that..

Interesting idea!! I have a lot on the go right now so not sure if I could do that one soon, but I'll make sure to remember it for the future! As for tips... get an audio editing software that you enjoy using and won't make you annoyed every time you try to do something complicated, and of course HAVE FUN!! :)))

This makes me want to rewatch all of the smp. Good thing I have a playlist of everything but bad thing for my exams huh. The exile stuff is really good memories for me despite being so sad because I got into such a routine of watching it getting dressed for school every morning and then again once I was at school in the hallways and trying to watch a a much as possible before class. Then I’d get home and finished where I left off while doing maths homework or something. It’s funny how this really sad part of the story can be so relaxing and almost nostalgic.

Can you do something with dream and george both? They are like my extreme comfort streamers. Just them talking, giggling and saying sweet things and it’s just us in a forest with them, smiling the way they do- its just gonna be so resting for me :(

This is a very specific suggestion but I think something ranboo focused that is set on his second day on the server cou be great because you could have the burning of George’s house with tommy and then move on to the flower shop/ice cream shop little fight that involves niki and puffy and then also punz later to get a lot of characters in. I’m not sure if you’ve seen that stream but it feels very quintessentially dram smp and imagine the fire cracking sounds and ice cream making sounds or something lmao. No pressure or anything I just thought I could be fun to have a video titled “burning down George’s house ambience”

"tommy?" you ask opening the flap of the torn up tent, you took note of it so you could come back with new fabric and thread to help him sew it up, tommy most likely didn't enjoy being eaten alive by bugs in the night.
"y/n?" tommy mumbled opening the flap. his voice was gentle just like every other time you came to visit, we except for that one week that was filled with constant fighting. you don't even know what it was about.
"i brought you some bread for us to share. i know dream takes all your things, but maybe i can help you hide it under the covers of your bed" you smile and take out a bag that had a half eaten loaf of bread.
"why? his just gonna find it and burn it" tommy huffed. what got him in such a bad mood.
"then you can just eat it now." you grin and spit the bread in half. more than it already was anyways.
"thank you" tommy mumbled and let you come inside the tent to sit and rest your legs.
you and tommy sit for awhile laughter erupting every once in awhile when tommy said something that he didn't intend to make funny.
after awhile you had to leave. it was dawn and dream was sure to visit tommy, and you didn't want dream finding out your little chit chats with tommy. not yet at least. that would do tommy no good.

I havent listened to the whole thing, but does this have major spoilers? I haven't caught up with the lore yet and i know _some_ minor details but nothing big?
Not really, there isn’t much to the exile arc that can be spoiled. If you don’t know what happened with Tommy’s beach party you might be spoiled though. What happens at the beach party is a pretty obvious reveal but at the time it was shocking because we waited a bit in irl time and other things happened that would spoil so I don’t know if for someone watching after the fact this video will spoil much.
I try not to spoil too much so you should be ok!! Like the other person said :))
