Yes, he was so handsome at EVERY age , every time. Very good man even how rich he is but never touched the bad stuff as drugs, alcoholic, and more, the best one for us to learn how to be good and control in life and in society. Thanks
Gr8 short !! Plummer was honest when saying he loved theater. Here in Canada there is a theater festival in Stratford, Ontario. Plummer was always a main role in these plays in such a tiny town. Such a big star going back to his roots year after year, he became, and still is a Canadian acting legend. Rest in peace Christopher. Your acting career, then honesty about the bad parts of your life has helped so many people struggling. Great short 👏
I will say, that even though Plummer didn’t like the sound of music at first, he later warmed up to it once he saw the massive positive impact it had and still has over the years. He liked working with Julie Andrews (who wouldn’t?) and also liked how it was a family movie, which were needed during the time the film was made. He said the film itself is very well made and he was even proud to be associated with something that has now become timeless.
Plummer changed his mind about the Sound of Music as early as 2001 - his promotional work for the Andrews/Plummer On Golden Pond reveals that, and again in his 2008 memoir, in which he talks about being moved watching it with children, again in the Sound of Music 45th anniversary publicity in 2010, and finally in the cast reunion on Oprah in 2015, all easily found on youtube.
To anyone who has loved this great actor, my fellow Canuck, wrote his own autobiography back in 2009 and it's title is: In Spite of Myself: A Book of Memoirs, nothing like reading (hearing) it from the horse's mouth. Bertter than this clip that last just long enough to give you nausea. This man's career lasted 8 decades going on a ninth, this grandiose actor, with an intellect as big as the world needs more than a diarhhea of words. This is not an honour nor a tribute to my fellow Canadian but a pale collage! Adieu, va! Christopher!
As from 05:25: : I know exactly where his daughter's got that "inner madness and fire" from - she's every inch his daughter! It speaks for him that he does not say this himself. I've seen her as Vadek in Picard, and she's in every way able to hold a candle to his General Chang in The Undiscovered Country; in a way, she's even better! If at all, she's even more uninhibited than he is.
He was indeed but I was completely disillusioned at the fact he hated the sound of music. He di portray a warm ,loving father but I was crushed. How naive of me.
This attitude of his seems to blight my love of the film. I didn’t order the movie as I had intended. I don’t even know what to think about Julie Andrews.
Cute he actually married the classy Baroness.also that's why the movie was always brought up ,not like out of sight out of mind wen your married off screen to another actor from the same famous movie smh
It was another Elaine Taylor, that he married, as far as I can see, when you see all the photos With him and his wife! In a late interview with him an Julie Andrews he said, that he indeed was in love with Julie and never could wait for each time, they shoul work together in The Sound of Music. And she also seemed to have bin in love with him, but she was married - were busy, she and her husband had small kids and troubles in their marriage and got later divorced. But it seems, that she and Christopher never had an affair and never were a couple.
He was so handsome at EVERY age!
Hello beautiful, I see happiness all around you, can I please share from it?

I was born in Stratford. My sister was his personal assistant when he last went there.
No mention about his performance as wellington in Waterloo.
Amazing film and acting .

He's right about Millennials...they've been given trophies for doing nothing and feel entitled to stardom.

But he got noticed coz of the movie sound of music. So one has to appreciate
I never knew that the restaurant girl from Pulp Fiction was Christopher Plummer's daughter. Nice trivia question.
Amanda Plummer is a great character actor in her own right. She’s been in a bunch of stuff.
This attitude of his seems to blight my love of the film. I didn’t order the movie as I had intended. I don’t even know what to think about Julie Andrews.
Absolutely true
He was an amazing actor and extremely attractive. I agree with the comment ‘at any age.’

He wasn’t married to Eleanor Parker, the baroness.
