Ranger also has nice crowd control and AP with bottom path and Shotgunner can heal and unstun. Mine Layer is pretty good for boss killing purposes. Scarecrow is alright as a bait. Grenadier is awesome for crowd control and stunning crowds in Endless and other gamemodes. Operator is a good early-game option for newer players in basically any main gamemode.

Some towers are good depending on the situation. Since Grenadier has more stun coverage than slammer, it's more efficient to get grenadiers on a tighter budget than spam 2-5 slammers. Cryo ranger, while just a slightly buffed version of ranger, still is useful in a tight budget for impossible map. with that being said this is its only use in the game, since you're saving money from buying 3-2 as opposed to 2-3 cryo blaster. toxinator also is a good support tower for certain modes, like endless. since you can argue it buffs xwm, the unbuffable tower, it has some nice traits. however it's easier to micro flametrooper, since you don't have to press an ability and aim. ghost, john, and laser gunner are the holy trinity of not completely braindead early game runs. ghost has good raw dps, and so does laser gunner. if you bring laser gunner to endless and play the early game right, you're set. however it's not as cost efficient as john, which doesn't have stealth detection. on wave 19, if you stealth reveal the enemies and have a 2-4 john plus some other laser gunners you're shredding it. on the topic of expert mode, juggernaut is great for it. better than its golden counterpart, arguably. it has way better CE (cost efficiency) at the cost of less range and no easy way to deal with armoured stealth. but if you get like 5 top path and 3 bottom path juggs, and a good stealth reveal tower up alongside buffs, you're 100% shredding expert. I think C tier should be completely reorganized. i feel like the only towers that belong there are armoured factory, operator, and missile trooper. all the other towers belong in B tier, aside from John and Slammer which i think should be A tier. and i think that's all i wanted to say, have a good day
