The question you gotta ask yourself is, what has more value to you, Your online reputation or your bank account? At the point of your content creator career when you are ready to expose your audience to products, you stop becoming an artist and you become a sales person. There is little to none objective marketing in modern capitalism, if you get paid to advertise, you gotta put on a show, even if you hate the show yourself. Those that chose to call themselves impartial always hit a ceiling…so, if you choose to become a UA-camr like her, then you gotta make sure you understand very clearly that you are becoming more than an artist sitting in front of a camera playing chords. You are the face of a brand, and it takes more than good music theory for you to be good at that. Peace
Okay, the thing we're not talking about that, though... I would love to know whether anyone else notices this -- Seids adapts their look (how much makeup, whether hair is done, the outfit) per platform. Tiktok is extremely "attraction" based, so posting vids where you look cute makes more sense. As opposed to the YT vids, which are much more natural (and also saved you a ton of time on NOT doing glam makeup just to make your content). As a creator, this time suck is SUCH a hindrance to me. Once I have a full face of glam on plus an outfit, I'm ready to be looked at - not ready to be organic, real, unfiltered, and therefore create the content I actually want to make. But if you post a video where you look like a$$ on Tiktok or IG, it ain't going anywhere.
i've never had logic , or any apple device. heh. poor person, here. but you were one of my fav channels to watch when i joined tiktok. i felt like i was growing with your learning process, and really, just seeing your enthusiasm, sparked my own when it comes to exploring reaper, or ableton.
i'm sixty and became almost successful with my daw production at the age of 55, i had the ear of people like the founder of Devo, and veterans like steve fox. and the producers for dre and dogg. then my computer died. i'm a poor dummy, so it took me five years to get another windows computer, or any computer that worked with a daw. in the meantime i mastered reaper, in linux, on ancient dead laptops using a live usb linux distro. now i have an old windows laptop, duh, and still use reaper , although i love ableton for its session view. reaper is just more customizable. this time around, though, it's taking much longer to learn, i guess since i'm 5 years older, but i'm still plodding away, making one beat per day, but no songs. yet. thanks for the inspiration. i followed you from the beginning on tiktok when you had zero subscribers. nice to see how you've grown. i hope i will grow the same way.
Hate can = success. Interesting. I thought about this sometime ago. Im wondering how to prepare yourself mentally for this. Perhaps you can't. Just have to adjust to it with time
You are one smart person. The advice you are giving is sage for whatever you are doing when trying to create any content or business. You have helped me with Logic more than you know. Thank you.
As Seth Rogen and James Franco said in "The Interview", "They hate us cause they ain't us." Thank you Seids. I love what you're doing, cause you love what you're doing! BTW What kind of a name is Seids?
social media sucks. i'm an avid watcher of music production videos. youtube only recommended your channel to me TODAY> i've been watching this kinda content for almost a DECADE. you're super popular on ads on insta and tiktok and youtube, but i only get to know about your channel TODAY (i already follow your tiktok and insta) ? and now, youtube is being OVERRUN by fake ai music channels, which have really good music and videos! way better than i can make , at my current level.
You need a “Thanks” button! Also that cover with Davydov was terrific, it’s kinda like you punked him. Has anyone ever said that you ought to think about becoming a professional singer? Just poking fun.
@@SEIDS_ I am not a musician, but do poorly implement Social media for my Business. Would your class help us better create videos that show what we can do? Myron from CinePost ?
Sad thing is you can’t just be a great artist but you have to be a pro at marketing yourself. In fact you have to be a better marketer than an artist 🤷🏻♂️
Or have the money to pay someone else to do it, which I think Seids does or She has other people doing stuff so She isn't doing it all. Nobody can do it all.
i.m outside your 'bucket' as an ableton/reaper guy, but i always learn stuff from your videos. i guess it has to be nuanced. if your content was so explicitly for Logic, i wouldn't watch. but you straddle that line. i have a couple other logic producers i follow because their advice is daw-transcendent, but i ignore the logic-dependent youtube content creators
FACTS 💯💯 Love this so much
Great vid! It's funny how naive I was getting into creating content about what I needed to do / learn / invest in.
Wonderful video! thanks for your advice and for taking the time to make this particular video.
Thank you so much. “Hate as a metric for success” hit me right. Same with not focusing on numbers. Thank you.
"I struggled with this so I want to help you not struggle". We need more of this, great video as always
great tips :) Glad you're successful doing what you love!
Me encanta la simplicidad de Sabrina! Gracias!

Such great tips!!!
I struggle with finding my place as a musician and songwriter how to be recognized because of my music not my family!!! I needed to hear this!!!🙏🏽
Suggestions seem good and held my attention to the end :-) If I wanted to work that hard, I'd probably use them :D

6:30 kinda makes me think of seth godin and his 1000 true fans theory. one true fan a day, or a couple, realistically.
Social media? I don’t know if I like it to do for my goals. Isn’t there another way?

Hey!! Thank you so much!!! I need to look into the thanks button!!

@@SEIDS_ buy-me-a-coffee is also an option. You probably need a coffee cup as possible merchandise.
Nice channel! ❤
Also, we love you! Thanks for being dope af.
ahhhhhh thank you so much this made my day!!!
I think it would be fun to make a "10 mistakes UA-camrs make when making a '10 mistakes people make'" video.
Im not even a Logic user but watched your Logic tip video's, why? I don't know but you kept Me watching.
You’re freakin awesome! Haters gon hate.
ahhh thank you!!!

@@SEIDS_ holy crap that’s cool!
i want secretly to drop an album and after to disappear, and for the rest of the life to leave people guessing - who was the artist?
