  • The Winston storage move strikes again! Taken on 1/14/25, I found out that CSX M415 had another storage move from Cumberland, MD to Winston, FL. I first headed to Point of Rocks to see if I can get it. After M276 passed, I headed to Brunswick after I needed to stop somewhere to get something, shortly after I pulled into Brunswick yard to see if anything was there and as I turned my head to the left; M415-14 was there. This train was a MONSTER as a total of Eleven locomotives were on it and seven were Dead In Tow; The stored consist contained a C40-9W, 3 C40-8W's (one in the YN3C), a GP40-2, and the 9th & 10th locomotives respectively was MEC C40-8 7594 and SD50-3 8604! This was a BIG Site to see as a lot of us (Myself included) thought 7594 was gonna be separated from her sister (MEC 7595), but apparently CSX has other plans (Or should I say CSX will be CSX). During the time, I would also be joined by ‪@rfpproductions1836‬ and a few others. During the afternoon, I would get to see a new crew arrive and get ready to start prepping. During that time, I actually got a chance to talk to the conductor who was really nice and actually asked my YT Page. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and we chatted a bit before I had to get ready to go back to work. This lashup was a site I will never forget. I did try to see if I can get it again later that night, but forfeited after finding out the leader had Mechanical Issues and became a trail fail and the rear-air hose on the train was having it's own issues. Hope y'all Enjoy the video!
