UPDATE: I got good, gooey cheese! I set the timer to 5:00, but quit at around 4:00. Good thing I did: the unit overcooked the sole of the crust, making it almost burnt; I will lay a piece of aluminum foil under the slice(s) the next time. I used the Maxi-Matic Elite Gourmet 5-qt model EAF5317D.
Glad u found a way that worked for you! ❤️ I took my pizza out earlier too and the cheese was so friggin hot and dare I say, cheesy?? 😂 Buttttt yes I used a thin piece of aluminum foil on the fryer pan but made sure to not block all of the air holes in the fryer 😉 voila! Bottom crust was not burnt! 💪
Just got my Cuisinart toaster oven/air fryer delivered today and the first thing I did in it was reheat my leftover pizza. I watched your video and it was perfect. (I did 5 min vs 6) and you were so right. Not rubbery at all. Perfect.
Like Cooking Oil, Air is also a Liquid Medium. Air is not as dense as a Cooking Oil, therefore it is not as effective. However Airfrying with an Airfryer means the Fried Food would be relatively dry and without much oil (other than the oil that is part of the ingredients).
Well, almost... Air (in most circumstances) is not technically a liquid, although it is a fluid. All liquids are fluids but not all fluids are necessarily liquids. There is one exception to this, air can become liquified by compression and/or cooling to extremely low temperatures (around -315 Fahrenheit at atmospheric pressure), however this state wouldn’t be in play when talking about the air in someone’s house which would be circulating in the air fryer.
This was really useful because I use an airfryer and when I do it in the microwave it goes soggy so I don't like it so I cook pizza in the airfryer because it does not go soggy and I never know how long to put it in for so thank you
I just got a ninja foodi double basket, and it has many settings 'air fry' 'bake' dehydrate' and 'REHEAT' I assume this is done on the "air fry" setting? That's how I'm going to try it first time around! Thanks Rob for showing this off!
@@kingbmd1276 Thanks! I'll have to try it again sometime. I did it on airfry and it turned out crispy and hot, I can't remember how long I put it in for until I edit the video lol maybe 5-7 mins. Fiacee noted that the bottom didn't get all hard and crappy like it does in the oven, so that's good! I'll try reheat / bake options too, one might be better than the other!
i think the timer for another brand of air fryer is different. 6 min for his pizza seems alright while 5 min for other person pizza was overcooked . it because each air fryer function differently . i found that best way is to set if up for just 3-5 mins with same temperature. if it doesnt look good you can add 2 or 3 more minutes and can also flip the side while youre at it.
@@RobSomeKnowledge yes right im glad you did agree with me , thanks for making this video anyway , tried this and works great now no more reheat using microwave
Rob, that audio signal for doneness.... my air fryer makes the same noise... Have they learned nothing from decades of bad design of the microwave oven audio signal? Why do we have to live through this horror all over again?? But anyway, thanks Rob, this is where I needed to be right now, I'm going to have reheated pizza! 👊
Finally got a air fryer for Christmas and just got around to trying it. My favorite is crispy leftover pizza. Set the machine at 350 for 7 minutes since my slice is N.Y. from an 18" pie. So after 7 minutes the top was well done and the bottom was limp dick soft. Fail. Thos will go back. My favorite way to crisp pizza is in a medium heat frying pan. Cover to heat top
Hmmm that’s weird mine comes out with a crisp crust. Is the pizza you are using fairly greasy when it is fresh? Do you have the same kind of screen bottom basket? Or is it just a flat metal plate basket?
Thats what I said.... lol do you realize 2-3 minutes of that time is just the machine ACTUALLY getting up to temperature ? .... 🤦♂ Yes I enjoy a crispy undercarriage, no one likes a flopper
Then why look up the video? Do you need to look up a video on air frying pizza, for someone to just say "put it in the air fryer" lol seems a little counterintuitive to the point of posting a video
The title and thumbnail both say “air fryer” how could you possibly think that 😅😅😅. I do have a pan pizza video too: ua-cam.com/video/JkiPiWc1Omc/v-deo.html
4 slices per 6 min gives 24 min (0.4 h/day) at 2000 watts (average) power and energy costs at 18.1 cents per KWh. So aproximately 0.14 cents electricity cost per 24 min of use. Nice.
Air Fryer shown in the video : amzn.to/30W4n5O
The Air Fryer seemed to have taken a lot of power. The room's light flickered in the timelapse video.
Standing in the kitchen learning how to reheat pizza in a airfrier yayyy!
😂
Same..lol
Hahaha
@@Fedayeen77 😆
Omg me RIGHT AS THIS MOMENT
Try 325 degrees for 4 minutes. Works really well and lessens the chance of over cooking/darkening/drying out the pizza. Cheers!
agh thanks so much! i'll let you know how it goes when i try this for lunch later
edit: it was so good :D it tasted almost fresh
Delicious.
Revived all of my grease and I can actually taste the sauce. Had to come back and ask if you would accept a donation of a kiss on the lips

Guys help my air fryer max only could go 200 degrees , how do I work my way around ?
Just searched this into UA-cam to find the first video is a guy with the same air fryer reheating the same little ceasers pizza amazing
Hahah really? Nice !
Same😂😂
Omfg i’m reheating little caesars pizza too 🤣
lmaoo fr bro cause little ceasers the only pizza u cant eat cold like that its gross asf not hot
1 year later & this phenomenon has happened again😂same air frier and little ceasar’s
Thanks for this video. We just ate pizza and have leftovers and I wanted to know the best way to reheat it. This answers my question.
omg thank you so much for this im eating my pizza out the airfryer and it’s absolutely delicious never using the microwave again 😂
Microwave sucks. I only use it for reheating it and then making it more crunchy in the air fryer lmao
Microwave? You should’ve been using the oven.
@@dillanskatez8376he’s talking about reheating.

Yum!!!

I’m glad you liked it! So much more stuff you can do with that air fryer too. This is just the tip of the iceberg!!!
Yep this video made me subscribe 😏
My slices came out crunchy, the cheese is melted like how it's supposed to be. 10/10
Looks good man! Should have tasted it on camera so we can hear that crunch.
Yeah you're right, I should've done that for the video! 😅
0:45 he actually starts

I like my pizza not too oily and I like my cheese to not melt, so it’s perfect for me who likes bland, dry food :)
So good! Never using microwave again. Thank you!
I tried it for only 2 minutes because 6 minutes kind of burnt my pizza but it tastes better than it does when microwaved
Try a lower temperature next time.
lower the temp so it can cook fully
This was really useful because I use an airfryer and when I do it in the microwave it goes soggy so I don't like it so I cook pizza in the airfryer because it does not go soggy and I never know how long to put it in for so thank you
So my air fryer has different settings, would I put it on air fryer mode, reheat, or bake /roast?
What was the wattage you had selected? Just curious ☺️
This air fryer is 1300 watts, there is no way to change the wattage selection, at least on this air fryer
@@RobSomeKnowledge Thanks! My Nuwave air fryer has 4 wattage selections to choose from. I usually just end up using the highest one, which is 1800. 👍

Bake or Reheat
Mine was “Reheat” so it could be 350'F

Yes different air fryers may use different wattages. Soo time might vary slightly from model to model
@@RobSomeKnowledge yes right im glad you did agree with me , thanks for making this video anyway , tried this and works great now no more reheat using microwave
That was one slice, same settings apply for two or three slices?
You'll have to add a little more time per slice, probably 30-60 seconds extra per additional slice is a good starting point

I like gooey cheese, and was disappointed that this video did not show the slice being broken or manipulated to indicate that the cheese had softened.
I too felt disappointing feelings
turned out awesome 👏🏽
can i put two??
Yep, I did and it's a crunchy great tasting crust also
What about 400 degrees
Is this from refrigerated pizza, of room temp pizza?
Refrigerated

isn’t there a reheat button? have you tried it

For those sensible using celsius scale, 350f is approx 180 ° celsius.

SIX minutes @ 350 to reheat a piece of pizza????? Yeah, I guess if your machine was made in a kindergarten class or you enjoy pizza crackers!!!!!

sry the best method is to preheat the fryer for 5 min then cook at 400 for 2 1/2 minutes
