Touring the realm is my favorite new feature in Tours and Tournament, but perhaps yours will be getting rid of all your rivals in one bloody wedding? Make sure to check out CK3's new expansion right now: play.crusaderkings.com/AndysTake
This is essentially that really popular wedding mod but all fleshed out and official. One thing i'd love to see them add an official version of holding sprawl (when you can see your settlements growing as you build).
This game just in a league of its own now. Honestly I've been gaming for 30 years now. I started on the Sega mega drive with sonic and I've seen gaming evolved. I've played every genre you can think of and I've played every aaa game to ever come out in those 30 years.. ck3 is my favourite game. League of its own
I know a lot of people are saying royal court was repetitive, and yes thsts true. But if we think about EU4 and HOI4 and their DLC rollout, I think its fair to assume they are doing the same with CK3. So eventually these will all work in together. Also, consider this: they're releaing things that are CK2 dlc with CK3 extras. I think the iberian DLC snd Tours and Tourneys are a little mote specifically CK3. So I'm hoping that with time we get the CK2 complexity with some extra bits and pieces. Royal Courts also added all the items/artefacts, which was a feature that several mods had to add in as traits. So having that system in the base game it also opens things up for the mods. I am excited for T&T for that reason as well, it looks great and will add some fun, but it will add a lot for modders to play with 😊 This was a good round up for the DLC. Cant wait, only about 2 days left for the rest of us. Thanks for sharing Andy. P.S. I am hoping for either a DLC which expands the government types + legislation/laws. I think that will be great!
@@AndysTake absolutely 😊 I want to play Venice, or even the Papacy. I think they could do some great stuff there with elections and legislative reforms. Some special stuff for the theocratic states like Papal bulls. The ideas are endless!
This dlc looks a lot better! I absolutely hated Royal Court. The court mechanics are just boring and repetitive, the 3D rendered room is about as useless as it gets. Much prefer this dlc’s apparent direction of adding meaningful interaction, political mechanics, and role play while also making the map feel more real. Hope it lives up to expectations!
I think we wouldn't have gotten these new mechanics without the RC dlc, and I'm afraid this is always how things feel like when they get older, once you memorize all the events.
@@TheKillaShow oh I have no doubt the shininess will wear out, but I hated RC immediately, not after it wasn’t shiny anymore. I have hope for this dlc because whereas the flagship royal court mechanics were, in my opinion, for the most part narrow and useless (I do like artifacts and the culture changes well enough), this dlc seems to be going for variety, and is adding depth to features I already use and enjoy. It feels like there is actual meaty content to get into here, and enough to do to keep it useful and engaging long-term. Heck, I like hunts and pilgrimages the way they already exist in game. That’s why I’m more optimistic about this one. I could be wrong, and the new interactions could ruin my enjoyment of these kinds of events, or the price could be too high and I have to delay purchase, but I’m keeping an open mind until I can make those decisions.
I just hope it won't be repetitive like court events and simply become a nuisance. If not, the ideas look fascinating, and I'm excited to try everything. Regency mechanics especially look promising. Great video tho!
My guess is it won't be that repetitive because court events are out of your control. You host these events when you want to and you are mostly able to evade these if you get bored of them
@@barissaaydinn it's the paradox dlc formula. You buy it and after a year you can't even remember what the dlc brought in but the new dlc is coming out so yaaay
How am I supposed to trust a review from someone being sponsored by the makers of the product that's being reviewed? You didn't mention a single negative thing and this DLC is far from perfect.
We just need some trade and we got a 10/10. I can only play this game 16hr/day before getting bored. It's getting better and better and soon I will be able to quit my job and fully immerse myself in the game. In 10 years this game is gonna be better than life itself.
Let's he honest here, Royal Court was dogshit for the price tag they slapped on it the "roleplay" was missing lol Tours and Tournaments however I do really much enjoy
Whatever happens; I've learned my lesson about Paradox... First, we need to wait till the game becomes complete and a bit better balanced... A couple of years. Then, till the price becomes reasonable... Plus, a moment to see CK4 and check whether it's not such a huge improvement that buying CK3 will prove pointless (like was the case with CK3 vs. CK2) All in all, until about five years from now I will be only remotely interested in CK3... Hate this hype rat race. 😂
@@vividvault9285 It's not the point. Overpaying (by a huge margin), while waiting for years before getting a fully baked product... Sure you can. Just like you could always buy every single game available in pre-order, and to those saying this means spoiling the market you would say "who cares, I can afford it". Money can always be spent in a less or more reasonable way. But an even more annoying thing to me is loss of time and quality... And people accepting such an approach simply foster wrong practices of companies, which will then demand even more cash, to make us wait even longer, for even less polished products... But to each his own, dude. ;-)
Not worth the price in my oppinion, just as greedy and down right criminal as Sims 4 Dlc's. Its extremely overpriced for what you are getting content wise.

I love what they have added, but I cant justify the $40 cad price point thats insane pricing in my opinion.
Why does every publisher put their stuff at such high prices nowadays
20€ on instant gaming, I'll keep on buying CD keys for cheaper until they stop being greedy af

Im only interested about the new buildings and buffs to the Men at arms
