The sequel to the SMAyden video that I'm sure none of the 18 people who watched it were expecting.
For those unaware, putz12 is a 42 year old Twitch streamer who is most well known for playing and raging at the Splatoon series. There are hundreds of compilations of his many rage moments across all three Splatoon games on UA-cam. He uses profanity all of the time, with slurs occasionally included as well, hence the obvious language warning.
You can check him out on Twitch, with the link being in the bottom-right corner of the video (and all of his streams), though DO NOT TROLL OR HARASS HIM. He's already been through more than enough of that, both past and present.

Let's get some quick questions out of the way:
-Yes, I was stream sniping. I normally wouldn't have played Marooner's Bay, but since putz was streaming, I knew I had to make an exception.

@@philipp286they are when you only have 2 and there's objectively better ways to use them. also he sucks at salmon run because he spams "this way" instead of inking turf, leaves bosses half dead, lets his teammates get swarmed, and yells at them instead of cooporating.
@@philipp286I don't mind the use of the first special, but honestly considering he was an inkbrush that special could've been saved if he had a heavier weapon. Probably just should not have been down there and instead messing around the egg basket clearing out lessers/carting big shot eggs in
Second one was totally wasted though. Could've easily gone around the Scrapper, especially with such a mobile weapon.

The fact the he always picks it up and the other team proceeds to completely bash his head in and puts him on a whole choke hold lol.
1:48 I like how two of his teammates go down here and he doesn't acknowledge it at all. Doesn't even look over to see how far they are or what's going on, he just keeps playing as normal and then dies himself to a pair of chum. If that splattershot pro hadn't cluched up they could've easily lost wave 1 and we'd see another rage from him I'm sure.

The comment about barely making quota on the mothership wave confuses me. He wasted time splatting salmonids in the way when he could have easily just ran around them to get the eggs, and he didn't help his teammates dispatch the ship from the basket. Genuinely what did he expect

You can easily be carried to EVP unfortunately, especially if you have basic knowhow of each weapon. In this game EVP is not as impressive as it used to be until you get to mid to high EVP.
he has no life outside of this game, so that gives him pleanty of time to weasel into evp

The way he keeps spamming "This way!" at the start of each round, you'd think his Inkling was epileptic.
People like him make me wish the Splatoon games had a "friendly fire" mechanic so that he could get fragged by his teammates, even if it makes no sense in game canon.
I don’t play splatoon that often but Putz12 keeps on doing stuff that isn’t that smart tho

I'm thinking something along the lines of not wanting to go all the way down to the shoreline to take down bosses and instead wanting to lure them up to the basket.

Luring bosses straight to the basket isn't the worst idea, but it only works if you have a coordinated team as you still need people going down to the shoreline to handle the bosses there and to not get fully swarmed in back.
However it’s the spam of "This Way" and not inking turf is the real issue. Like, at least ink the sides so you have escape routes, especially on a hallway map like Marooner's Bay. Teamwork guy, teamwork.

I have heard of this guy a lot over the years. The only thing I know about him is that the one time I legit raged at another person over something dumb in the game (in context, it's not what it sounds like, but I still shouldn't have done it, to be clear), I was instantly compared to him (because that's gonna calm someone down when you're spawncamping their friend who's brand new to the game and doesn't even know how to vertical flick yet!). Since that incident, I've avoided any content that mentions him because I've been scared to find out if the comparison was true, even if only in the moment. *17 seconds in and I can safely say I've never been anywhere near this angry at a game. The match hasn't even fucking started yet and he's raging and whining...OVER THE SALMOMETER?!?*

I'm pretty new to splatoon content and more serious gameplay, and honestly watching putz is so painful in a weird way. Like it's obvious he's not horrible! His movement isn't that bad- it's leagues better than mine. But his game sense is pitiful. He never knows whats going on or what to do or anything. It isn't what I'd expect from a player with probably thousands of hours, it's what I'd expect from someone with less than 100 (like me lol).
Glad I'm riding the putz train as it's starting to pick up steam because of that one video on him

i don’t understand how he always wants to lure all the boss salmonids to the egg basket, especially on this map and being an EVP wouldn’t it be really hard to not get splatted😭
It's always preferred to lure to the basket, especially on EVP unless of course a stinger, big shot, or flyfish spawns. This map especially you want to lure because everything spawns so far from the basket. So while I don't agree with how Putz acts, or the weird plays he makes in salmon run, you should always try to lure.
