RULE #1: Light Tank Mentality

- Bit of a simple video really. Needed to get this one off my chest for a while now.
Rule #1 about physically playing lights: Outlive the enemy light tank, by any means necessary.
Rule #1 about mentally playing lights: Ignore your team, cause they'll get your tank killed.

What are you guys doing here 😄
Woah its the awesome epic guys
I feel like rule #1 with the class was always "know the maps", because there will usually be magical bush somewhere in the middle of the open field that lets you overwatch two flanks at once. Right next to 3 other similar looking bushes which will get you instantly killed
@@Sleelan this is too accurate
Not to hard to know the maps since we got like 5 maps 😂😂😂
After 10 years / 18k battles played I feel like I kinda know the maps, but at the same time I don't.
@@VioletGiraffe 18k battles is nothing tbh, not trying to offend you. It's just far too low to truly know maps, all the good positions with all the classes, especially if you play all the modes games allows you.
Knowing the maps is some toddler-level stuff. That’s a given, and doesn’t need to be mentioned. It’s on the same level as saying that you need to know the controls.
Thank god I was a light tank main starting this game. It's insane how much game knowledge you can gain after playing light tanks for so long and so many times.
Things you should avoid, risk assessment, etc are really cerebral at this point that I could influence the match in my way everytime.
Sometimes lights are unplayable because your own goddamn team will push you out of a bush and actively try to kill you because you don't do what they tell you to do. It's insane that you need to fight against your own team when you play a light.
@@tudormese or they get spotted and then hide behind you....
Lots of players out there who just don't how things work. I wouldn't be too mad at it, its that same ignorance that lets you farm their like-minded versions on the enemy team.
yeah 1vs29
Just this last weekend, I was playing in a heavy tank on prokorovka, both teams had one light tank. Our light tank was playing smart and trying to counter the enemy light tank, but the team kept harassing him, telling him to go scout.
And he did, and then he died and that caused us to lose...
Very typical prokorovka experience....
I've done that as a light and I hate myself for it
It's really hard to spot when you only spot when someone is 50 m from you(enemy light /medium) ,because of camo value ,or when the enemy decides to advance without care
@adrjanidurante scouting is extremely hard. You've got to play the map. You've got to play the enemy team and worst of all, you've got to play your own team.
It's super frustrating when the scout is doing all the right things, but no one is there to capitalize on it.
Back in the days when team damage still exist, playing LT with those kind of teammate was an absolute nightmare.
Tbh, ignoring your team, regardless of your class, is generally a good idea.
But when learning lights, I’d advise turning chat off, or muting those miserable base camper players. Their perception of the game starts and ends at point and click. Many times they are no better (and sometimes worse) than arty.
On a side note: I wonder if the backline TD strategist-syndrome is worse on the NA vs other servers.
communication is king in world of tanks, but the tough pill to swallow is that not everybody really understands how a light tank is supposed to operate.
thank you for this video, I'm far from the greatest of light players but this video definitely helps to put me in a better mindset whenever I get some triangles yelling at me for not yolo'ing in and get surprised when I die. especially since keeping your cool improves your chances of making the right decisions.
Sure, it's alright to not fully understand how another tank operates. But you can just acknowledge that and/or stay quiet, why start berating a teammate when you are aware you have gaps in your own knowledge?
@@bostycraiova I don't berate other players for any reason, there might be a slight misunderstanding with what I mentioned before. sorry about that.
@@FullMetalMid Ah, I wasn't accusing you specifically of doing it. I was just asking why some players would berate others when they themselves aren't experts in playing that role.
Lol ya ofc I havent played light tank in a while and fell for it and just suidiced from being berated from my team 😂
Even better are the squares telling you you’re failing to scout in Siegfried line when 3 tanks are already committed to that flank and see everything there 😂
Ever since 2011 I have been absolutely engulfed with all things world of tanks related. The road till now has had some ups and downs with content creators coming and going, but for what feels like the past 10 years, you, Sir, brought back that fascination of the game back once more. There are great players out there with excellent guides and commentaries of matches that open up new ways of thinking outside the box, new strategies constantly evolving, meta shifting etc... But I've never seen someone explain things in this way that is so easy to understand, yet greatly detailed and informative. Instead of a simple do or don't, you take it to a whole new level of depth. It's currently 2 o'clock in the morning on a worknight and I can't bring myself to stop going through video after video of yours. In a similar way as the Challenger is underrated and underappreciated, so does it seem here with your channel. For what it's worth, thank you for what you do, respect for despite what seems to be a (relatively) limited viewership still going strong and props for the experience shared like this that takes years to accumulate. You, Sir, are a gem.
Solid advice on this. Needed to read. Thanks dude
“Oh NOW you move up when the enemy light dies. Noob light do your job.”
“How tf did your hacking ass top the leaderboard”
Love it when the Arty is the only one to complain about his team
Not every arty player is automatically an idiot. Arty has the overview and time to analyze the flow of the game and spot crucial mistakes of the team. Since arty is also a team depending support class, it is frustrating to not be able to help because you are let down by mentally challenged team mates.
@@kadettstimpy1142 I mainly play the four types of tanks, but I do use my SPG's for missions. Yes, you are right, arty gives you a different view of the battlefield and the problem I have seen happens most of the time is that most players not only dont know how to play their tank class, but they lack patience and the skill of trying to set up traps for the enemy team. A lot of WoT players should start playing chess a bit, cause they lack thinking 2-3 steps ahead. Most cannot read maps, team compositions, when to fall back and when to hold. Its a complex game and I do not think that a true tutorial will ever be made for this game, but watch and learn, study stuff and you can get there.
I'm a LT main and I want to add to the first rule.
Out live enemy LT ia really cool, but you have to have corresponding influence as enemy LT, or at least really weight in on you inaction. Otherwise (especially in LT map) your absence or lack of influence may tip the battle enough to make the match not winnable.
Pro tip: after i turned off my in-game chat my gaming experience elevated to the stars. It's just a useless distraction, noone uses it for tactics anymore just yapping cuz they don't have a better idea than balming others instead of actually improving by learning from their own mistakes.
Funny to read it tho
I deactivated chat, blocked any platoon invite, blocked any DMs after battle, and a bunch of other stuff. The less you interact with other players, the more fun the game becomes. Kinda ironic for a MMO
@@Ridif00lous Same.
100% agree - i am still bad in LTs, but it is because mistakes are punished hard and instantly in that class. i knew when I had very good rounds. I know what a LT is doing on the field and if he is not the smartest candle.
After 12years i learned to not listen to the team most of the time not even in LTs! I use a mod to expand my blacklist in the thousands. You go faster on that than you can annoy me.
It also works to turn of chat, because it helps only 1 out of 1000 games. The rest is for fun and shittalk. And the "Whelp, me tenk spotet! on Y69!" (those spammers get blocked, too.)
tl;dr: you are right. Love ya!
Big thanks! For a noob like me, with 8k games only, it is quite an eye opening commentary.
One of my most frustrating light games was when I permaspotted an FV4005 on Steppes. We had an STRV103 and M60 in a position where they would have had a straight line to shoot his whole turret. Neither of those bots even looked at him once. Literally for 3 minutes straight I pinged and screamed in chat for them to turn their guns but no...
Please do more of this content. I just found your channel and this is fire! A Problem solved with a lot of explanation. Really nice!
Sigh.... the good ole days of when some a TD or arty with one hand in their pants shoots you for passive spotting.... memories
Its a shame you're a small channel, I feel like over half the player base needs to understand this lol
its always a scorpion or an udes at the back
My rule #1 is "WoT is a horror survival game" meaning staying alive till the end is the goal.

@@chemslmao no way
If I had a dollar for being exactly where I needed to be, spotting, but noone shoot stuff, I'd be the second riches person after Incomming. Light tanking is thankless, often detrimental to your stats, and soulcrushing.
Hey! You've told me this a lot of times and it has helped me a lot. Good video!
I'm usually in a medium and when i get prok i use cvs and optics to help fill a light tank role and typically spot a lot from about E3 but lights can make or break games and scale better no camo loss on movement is powerful
i had a prok without lts at all earlier today, i was in jagdpanzer e 100
i said at the start "patience is what wins prok w/o lts"
team was impatient, got themselves spotted out of position and killed, and yet myself and a grille 15 on my team snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat by patience alone
Very good video I really hope a lot of people watch it ✌🏼keep up the good work
Great advice. Don't let anyone tell you how to play your tank. They're probably already dead anyway. And please stop suiscouting. You can't win or have a good game when you're dead. A well-done, mature, and coherent video. Thank you.
Thanks ,I usually play Tds and light tanks , knowing someone thinks the same way as me is comforting.
Another general Rule: Let the enemy be stupid first 😉 Thanks for sharing, Incoming!
2 scouts on your side, both go to the same grid: fail. 1 scout going with heavies: fail. There's lots of bad light tank players.
I really love the ELC Even and the (pre nerf) AMX ELC Bis. Both incredible scout tanks. When the spread was 3 levels for scouts, I'd take the ELC Bis into a Tier IIX match and just run around the map, randomly turning. I'd go out in the middle, spotting everything, it was a blast to play.
Honestly, best LT video.
I been playing this game for years and honestly throughout it the best way is to play is to survive but also actively play the entire game. Early game it is actually important to be thier for your. Team. You want to spot the enemy team in a light tank role as fast as you can so you can try to spot where specific tanks are going. This can help the team figure out where they need to go. This also gives the secondary goal of spotting the enemy light tanks. The fast your team knows where they are the sooner they can kill them . Once your spot the initial time you wana retreat and wait till your unspotted before you move to where you wana passive spot. A lot of light tank players die at this point and it’s due to being to far out and being killed because your usually getting into a stationary position. The best way to survive this is to position up near other teammates with lower camo so more eyes will be on them then you. Once you’re at the Turing point where your team is winning or loosing you wana move around to continue to spot and be a nuisance. Being able to get into areas and spot the enemy is what light tanks are best at and when there is few enemy tanks the stronger a light tank becomes. I used to in a Chaffee drive around kv2s and just knock them out it was so much fun
Truth.
Been playing since year 1, casual. Virtually the entire team wants you to lite targets for them.
If you press, most likely you will die, a lot of maps will be decided on good arty with scouts.
Even in my T-78, a low armor, long distance Sniper Tank I get crap, the very nature of this tank is to snipe from long distance. It’s got great long distance vision, but the horde wants you to play it like a medium, and you just can’t hang with 2nd line in most cases.
I would add the Hell Cat in that category, depending on how high MM puts you in the stack.
This is probably one of the hardest things to do in a light tank; dealing with social pressure and while it applies to all classes to some degree it is the most extreme for lights. I play mostly heavies but I do like some light tanks(covenanater for some god forsaken reason and the 42 jakt, also occasionally elc amx). Learning to ignore the army of tomatoes behind you is difficult. For example im in my arl 44 and a td and another heavy are wanting me to push a street. I know for a fact 3 tds 1 medium and a heavy could reposition in seconds if they are already not IN position to rip me apart(Paris gets that way sometimes).
They don't seem to understand the concept I am not invincible. In that situation only 1 of them could not reliably pen me at that distance while the other 4 would have to hit my hull and even then more than 3/4ths chance to go in. Maybe if I was in an OI, but even then I don't like 50/50 odds(especially given 2/3 tds where blueberries).
Re: passive scouting - that was my first job in the Armour Corps aka Recce Sqn aka IRL Recce/Scouting/Recon(for the yanks) - cam up in the tree line, watch for baddies and call it in 🙃😉 It's one of the few irl skills I could carry over into the game. All OTHER tonk skillz I learned went out the window as I learned how this crazy game REALLY works 😮 And yes, I've had folks critique my light skillz, and then I stupidly listened and got slapped for it 🤬
When to shoot - the new Czech lights need to LEARN this Rule!! Tired of seeing some numbity Blesk/Squall etc run in, brappppp his gun, then die at the start. Tell a bunch to scout first, shoot later, you'll live longer. And if you trick out a Cz light, they can be pretty sneaky (with extra sneaks)... cept maybe when a ELC 90 is on the field.. then yer Eff'd. Said to someone the other day that WG should make the same rule for EBRs as to ELCs i.e. each team gets an ELC.. to be fair, but if the other ELC is also tricked out with crew and cam, can't fix that, but it's better than an ELC versus a Blesk.
I’m not vet good at this game but thanks to videos like yours I am learning.
The reasons stated in this video is why i play without the chat turned on, especially when playing light tanks. Sometimes that might make me miss out on some good communication with my team, but most of the time it feels like the team would rather berate and insult me rather than come with goood feedback or initiate strategic plays 😢.
and thats why I dont have team chat when I play with lights
Also kinda feel bad about SOME of the lights I've gotten mad on lights but some i swear there are some that just dont play light right
Active spotting is difficult at the best of times because of invisible tanks like the elc at higher tiers. Stupid thing can sit in a bush and never be seen.
Also if you passive spot correctly you can rack up good spotting damage numbers.
I'm new to the game and I have 500 battles playing as light tank. First thing I learned was to put the chat off and focus on not dying and spotting without compromising and just intervening when estrictly necessary
I agree with some of the 'ignore' advice...but.
Look at where your team are positioned, there is little point in spotting beyond their ability to engage, unless it's for enemy disposition information, and then generally at the start (don't die).
Ask your team for support before going elbows deep into the storm.
Sometimes you may be able to help an ally to move to a better position, why not, they may keep you in the game.
But if your team won't interact with this, the horse won't be drinking!
noob light tank go spot
My problem with most heavies "falling back" is they think falling back means go all the way back to their own red line. Falling back should just be to the next defendable position, not all the way to the red line or the furthest corner of the map and hide behind arty.
Without ur team you can't spot for anyone
great video, keep it up
I unlocked and maxed out the M41 bulldog a long time ago. I made a mistake and I didn't knew that which light tank is great or not I just love the Sheridan and that was why. But I can't even talk about how frustrating to play with the people who just sits and wants to shoot until I came and maxed out the tier 8. I've always waited for an opportunity to come and then I can go for another position or drive foward because the current position is useless. I also experienced the same thing with the amx 13 105 line. When I maxed out the bc 12t I was like "bro I can't take it anymore" I always put them in my blacklist but they also decreased my motivation a little bit even though I didn't want it. And I was much more better in the M41 because of the absolute monster wiev range. Reason that I grinded these lines was for the missions. But I still need them, I can't give up because I still have a lot of missions to complete. Now I'll play every single light tank match with chat turned off because I want to create my own strategy, not wanting to do something that someone else says in chat. It really might be the class that kills you the most mentally in this game.
Your gameplay and teaching are very impressive. I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up that good work. They inspire me. Of course, I have no intention of stealing your content :D. I really respect your content and I have some video projects in mind that I would like to do.
Good lessons, thanks.
This should be a manditory video for all aspiring light tank (LT) players.
I'm still convinced certain tanks types should be locked out and only be available after a player has reached a T10 med or heavy tank, you know like the unlockable character from the good old games, and light tanks is a good candidate.
Mini map awareness, knowledge of maps and the key locations and also understandig the flow of battle are key.
I play passive scout (so no EBR but a Manticore instead) a lot. It's my favourite line and most of my time I spend looking at the mini map. Which flank is pushing, which flank is failing. If we're loosing a flank what would be a good spot to hide and spot for the defenders?. These are all questions I ask myself as the battle unfolds.
It's only when a enemy makes a play that's challanging my position, be it close to me or pushing ground or challanging positions is when I don't look at the minimap and get focussed what's in front of me. And when that happens I often take that moment to learn to do it defferently next time because as a light tank I shouldn't be caught by the enemy in that duel unless I CHOOSE to be in that duel.
That last thing is a VERY difficult thing to master, especially when you faced with an experience LT player. At best you get yourself in a cat-and-mouse fight batteling about sheer meters, peaking ridges and counting reloads of enemy tanks firing at your position. At worst you'll find yourself staring at a heap of twisted metal what was your tank just a second ago and not knowing what just happend.
First map starting you use is nice, but an EBR can run the low ground without getting spotted. I've tested this with my clan with a STRV in the back bushes. A light only needs to run slightly right of the 2 line bushes utilizing the few bushes sticking out. You could've had them them popping up H2 without spotting them if they used the low ground. This of course can be countered using bushes along the red line or the diagonal bush line in g1/h1.
LT enjoyer here. Once in a while, i get team mates who defend me against the muppets on chat. They will also message post battle to gg wp. Even if we lose because they know.
Makes up for it tbh. Just about. But playing LT is getting satisfaction that one managed to outplay (directly) the enemy light. Permaspotting someone and being unspottable outside proxi range is fun too. Helps to have a disgusting fly like the ELC😂
6:25 and when your team yells at you to go do stuff like this & you die for it they then do a 180 and start blaming you for doing what they wanted 💀
Remember
It’s really hard to win an argument with a smart guy, but it’s impossible to win an argument with a genuinely re”s”tarted person
I have been ignoring my team for a long time now. From when I discovered that it isn't actually a team game.
Most people see the light as expendable, just supposed to rush in, light up enemy, then die.
Then they don't make damage and curse you for dying so quickly.
So ignore them, play your own game, they wont support you whatever you do.
They are often not watching, so if enemy approaches your position they wont kill it, they are looking somewhere else. When you die, they call you an idiot.
Stay alive, ignore other players, it's not a team, best advice.
Rule number 1 of playing a light tank, disable chat, yes it's counterproductive in case you need to rely information to your teammates, but they will not listen to it and instead they will blame you for being caught in the open and shot because they got impatient and pushed instead of waiting like the enemy team is doing
i've been on record several times in both of our streams saying that you are one of the if not the best LT player I know. I still feel like it is subjective fact. it is the hardest class in the game for a reason and so many people dont understand that.
reminds me super heavy of the VET badge = BAD
Bro tip: turn off team chat
All Skorpian players think they have a personal light tank to sport for them.
This is exactly why I stopped playing lights until the Tesak came around. Either they know what to do or they come up with the most brain damaged strat while out of position to hit anything. There was a period of time where I just got fed up with the team saying do this and if enough of the team were on what I quote the "stupid bandwagon", I'd go do what they said. Ofc 99% of the time it goes exactly how you'd expect which is a loss. Nowadays, I just filter out the chat for actually useful information like HPs and unspotted tank locations while playing my own game to win. You simply cannot fix stupid.
I think the people not understanding why a light does what he does or even why he does it are only half of the problem.
The EBR simply outclassing every other light, in regards of active spotting, makes everyone believe that all lights can do the same thing. Thats why you get blamed if you dont rush in and spot the entire enemy team after 5 seconds.
And dont forget that the modern WoT player cant sit fucking still for more than his aim time and then has to move because apparently its the law now.
God i fucking hate the constand "PuSh EnEmY oR wE WiLl lOsE" or "my brain cant handle a minute of waiting" mentality nowadays.
You NA server?
Yes
I may be in the top 5% of the playerbase but I've thrown too many games forgetting that and listening to my team.
i am disgruntled with those ppl that tell you to do that
I remember when i was playing char mle 75 and some leopard kept saying i need to spot, then lt432 who is clearly good at the game from other side of the map said this "he is not a spotter"... not everyone understands that not every light tank is good for spotting... i ended up with a decent 2.5k dmg and 2.5k dmg, while lt432 got 10k spotting in that battle. If my light tank has low view range and bad camo i will just get myself killed if i try to go forward
All this is 100% when playing a light tank.
Absolutely ignore teammates unless other light telling you where they go..and if multiple lights..say 3 a side..one will die first min..then concentrate on living and spot enemy lights.. TDs most annoying and impatient.
What tank is DPG Sugar Daddy?
Bro, good post man. Toxic players make this platform hard to play but I love this game. Turned off game chat for like 2yrs cuz these fools are relentless. Well done brutha!
The only mod we would need is the one that blocks ALL special command like "help" pingings and "fall back". Only written is allowed in my chat.
Light tank early game is important
Light tank late game is god tank

The main reason they complain to you is because they believe you should have taken much more RISK then you have. And that is stupid, because they measure it by distorted perception from their emotionally blown up ego. And they are not even aware of that. Time to blame you. That is why you should ignore most of your chat. Destroyer mainly player.
good vid
That bush is fine for a Selma or some shit like that but when youre in a manti or elc, and the enemy doesnt have one then you have to go bush line
Good lights and light players are so rare but man can they influence the battle.
When i see an even 90 on some bush heavy map like Mali, Proko etc. I pray that the player isnt good.
If there is an even 90 (or other lights) completly buffed up for passive scouting and you cant guess the bushes wher ehe is in for blindfire (because ther eare so many) one light can completly lock down a flank or area.
i´m 150% agree how to play light tank on open maps... but i struggle often in city maps like himmelsdorf
@@mathiasschlosser9791 maps like himmelsdorf are very opportunistic, but the team has to win anywhere or anything for you to have a chance at helping out.
I wish i didnt have a jank mouse wheel when i got my 7 kill game in 1357 because the chat was a perfect example of everything in this vid, i used a spot that many of the triangles didnt like and bitched, then me and a 100y cleaned up 9 tanks together as last two because he positioned himswlf where he could grab what i found and it was glorious, i thinknthe clip os still up on wotreplays but idk how to play past patches of games back so its forever a memory for me
LT main since beta, yeah ignore your team its your job to spot not damage.... patience is a virtue and know your spot very well anticipate enemy movements.. predict where they are and anticipate to move it that position in gaining spot damage assist.. helping your team....
I hate soap rocks
WOT has helped me to not take insults personal and to learn from it instead. Or something like that
Not enough guidance for lt players. Thanks for this.
I had a tvp tell me to go spot. It was the end of the game 3 of them vs me and the tvp. I thought to myself, ok alt he’s got me right? Spotted them just for the tvp so whiff his entire mag. I got away since I was an EBR. But sill left on alot less HP than I was on.
You should know better than to passive scout, you're supposed to run around like a chicken with it's head cutoff until you die
Scouts job is to spot for their team! That’s their role! Always has been! They keep their camo rating while moving through bushes. They are not under armored mediums! They are not TDs! Your job, your ROLE is to spot! Your eyes are more important than tour gun!
Been playing since 2012! Not all lights are scouts but most are! They used to get their own matchmaking! Chaffee used to see tier 10!
The only part you got right is the need to out last the enemy scout tank!
This video is literally about klowns like you.
You are more or less who this video is about (not specifically).
@@lncoming This is the problem with players that came in after the scout line was extended! You weren't there trying to play a tier 5 Chaffee or an AMX ELC against tier 10's! Scouts were mixed in with the lights. Scouts got scout matchmaking! Their role was to sit in a bush and spot if they were slow or drive around like crazy and spot if they were fast! That class is the only class that keeps their camo rating while moving through bushes! NO OTHER CLASS HAS THAT! SO why in the hell are you trying out in the damn open shooting your gun? That does not help t he team win! Another thing new players don't seem to get that this is a team based game no matter how much you hate it! You picked a scout tank so you told the game that you wanted to be the eyes of the team! Try doing that in certain sports! You say you're going to play a certain role or position and then decide when the game starts you don't want to, you're just shit out luck! You'll more than likely be kicked off that team!
Now I don't expect you to spot for ungrateful TDs that sit so far back that they cant see. I agree with you on that! Now if there is cover where you can hide in a bush or have a roll of bushes you can slowly push through, then you need to spot! I have all of my scouts set up to spot and not do damage! My tier 8's and above have the Commander's vision system installed! Certain mediums that exceptionally good camo I have them set up as a scout as their 2nd build!
I don't use mods at all! Players that do, won't scout at all especially if they use WN8! WN8 doesn't take into account spotting damage. Spotting damage was suppose to made the primary way to earn credits/experience! Wargaming changed their mind and just extended to light line and didn't pulled the scouts out as their own line like they said they were going to!
@@briansullivan9691
1. You weren't there trying to play a tier 5 Chaffee or an AMX ELC against tier 10's!
My account was created in 2012, and I played someone else's account before that (Edit: I have over 1000 games in the AMX ELC bis). Light tanks ended at tier 5, and were also better equipped to defend themselves back then, than lights are today. This is extremely evident if you just look at the patch before and after tier 10 lights came into the game:
tanks.gg/compare/amx-elc-bis?t=amx-elc-bis__v09171_______
Penetration: 170 -> 120
Reload: 12 -> 14
Engine Power: 250 -> 180
Top Speed: 65 -> 60
2. That class is the only class that keeps their camo rating while moving through bushes! NO OTHER CLASS HAS THAT!
This is a debuff rather than a benefit, since light tanks would have either 25% or 33% more stationary camo than moving, if that wasn't the case. The game works this way, since the ELC EVEN 90 would have 27 or 32% base stationary camo, before anything else applies. It would be even more broken than it is now.
3. why in the hell are you trying out in the damn open shooting your gun? That does not help t he team win!
This is simply wrong.
4. I have all of my scouts set up to spot and not do damage!
Paris, Ensk, Abbey, Himmelsdorf, Empire's Border, Berlin, Safe Haven... among others. You should make setups for the maps where scouting is useless.
5. Players that do, won't scout at all especially if they use WN8!
This is a very gross oversimplification, that is also very false. Nobody is not going to not scout due to WN8, and if that IS the case, that's just who they are. Light tank WN8 is greatly exaggerated according to the damage you deal, so almost nobody is going to care either way.
If you want anything else disproven, let me know.
If you use xvm you'll notice its always the red barons in the chat. ALWAYS the 45%r....
why i turn off team chat in game .. the toxicity is overwhelming in the game now
Any player who comes into a game and starts telling other players how to play is a jerk. I’m so over these pixel generals who think they can play while micromanaging others.
I saw your 279e video from like 2 years ago and found it very entertaining. Did you end up getting it?
Yeah. I got it a couple years ago.
I would love to play this way,... But camo does not work like that on console
valid points
To be called noob light you need to first get a map where light matters :). We can all thank wg for a great map pool where only like 8 maps are good for light
4:04 Here's what I don't understand. Why do you say "depending on how much the matchmaker has had" as if it's something bad. I don't get why when some people see more than one (non-wheeled) light on each team they get upset.
@@festiverespecttrackingfanc6644 most maps only have two things for light tanks to do. Everyone else has to basically sit around trying to shoot things with subpar pen, or just watch them have the good game, because they got there first. 3 lights per team is often a practical limit to almost every map in the game, so 4 can get decently excessive.
In some lights, 4 per team is fine, since it means you get to go for damage instead (like in the T49). But for things like the British lights, it can be a bit annoying.
how is the RU251? .Does it still dominate? Have not played in 7 years.
Yea but something mm dont get and ppl too is just bc im a light it dosent mean its made to spot like if ur light IS GOD DANG FATTER THEN PROGETTO 46 and some lights are made for compat not spot like how is a light (the auto cannons example) are giant like i pretty sure theres prob a heavy tank is smaller then a light witch is sad
@thorthetroodon9938 Bisonte is almost smaller than a Squall. Emil I is just barely smaller than an LT-432.
0:02 I understand lmfao
How do you get a team that knows to play between the 3 and 5 line on that map instead of camping on the one?
@@johnmorrison4224 that's the only team I've had like that, in basically forever. Most teams don't drive to the ridge.
I uninstalled WOT on 1Jan this year and thought Id miss it more than I do - Stuff like this is better for my blood pressure lol
Idk why but you calling it the Z Wheel makes me angry. Just incase you didn't know it's called a Radial menu. Just a little info if you didn't know.
