Nice video and seems like a great feature.
I think so too! Thank you for stopping by
Thanks for the video, that's a very useful feature. Incidentally, did you try removing the stars within Siril using a linear image and checking the 'Pre-Stretch Linear Image' box? Starnet++ can be a little picky depending on how stretched the data is.
Yes. Starnet is picky. Some data just makes it difficult as well. I usually do star removal in linear unless I am using something like a starless and star image reconstruction in pixinsight using pixel maths.
Thanks for the helpful video
Absolutely. It’s my pleasure.
Great video
But any work I do with star stretching looks to fake to me to perfect round shape
I like them to glow
AGREE..IVE CHANGED MY MIND WITH STARS ALOT THESE DAYS!!
I watched this video to see what I was doing wrong because when I used StarNet in Siril on a Windows PC it made a pixelized mess of the stars and didn't seem to work properly-- and it sounds like you basically had the same problem?
Yeah. Starnet imo is very weak compared to star xterminator. Maybe one day it will improve or star x could be a paid plug in?? Never can tell
Does the image you select have to be in a Fits format
No. But if you want to do photo metrics it helps to have all the fits info.
@@easyastroimages5818 thank you for the fast reply
I show you how it works - but first get the files prepared elsewhere 😂😂😂
im sure you have some data :)
