Honestly I liked the choppy style animation of the old one, I thought it was a stylistic choice and it gave it a sort of charm similar to stopmotion animation.
Yea I didn't want to be that guy but it really did look better at lower fps. Personally, I would like to just see new Astolpho animations. It might be a better use of time.
That's totally fair! I mention this in a different comment but I think of this as a re imagining of the video in my modern style, which I'll be the first to admit, is much, much different than what I was going for in 2020. The original animation is very special to me and I wouldn't dream of considering this "better" or an improvement, more of a celebration of the original while making still having it be notably different and worthy of a remake. It is important to note that the original animation switched between the choppy style and "smooth" animation as well, but yes, I'm never going to be able to recreate the exact choppy feel of the original which is totally fine- that's why the original is still there and why it's still worthy of a remake- to make something notably new! :)
