This is a rework of an Andy Griffith plot from 1962ish. Same surprise, same conclusion...an 1861 civil war town Bond in AG, a CW land grant deed in this. Old scruffy man that was seen as the town embarrassment in AG. Young less than respected man in this. Funny thing though. Hooterville implies that it is an upper Ohio Valley town between NYC and Chicago from the start of Petticoat Junction and into Green Acres. They had to really force the conclusion here since the governor in the 1860s would have been still in the US.
I loved watching this show on TV. I grew up with! Still yrs later my heart melts memories
I Love Petticoat it is a very good show
Linda Kyle is a good actress

i swear, Lori Saunders was the most beautiful woman ever on tv.
She never got her due.
For a while I thought Lori Saunders was the most beautiful woman on Petticoat Junction...but my brother thought it was Billie Jo.:-)
You must not watch much TV😅
@@bethr8756 Oh, I've watched my share. Why do you say that?
Smooth Orrin!
Baby boomers'memories...
Mrs. Potter? Obviously not referring to Mildred Potter from M*A*S*H!!!
The only reason I endured this stupid show as a young man is to watch the total babe Lori Saunders.
She looked great in a bathing suit! During season 7 she was in more than one swimsuit scene! WOW!
@@richardranke3158 I know right!. The show's producers weren't fools.
This isn't a stupid show, it's better than junk of today, and I do mean crap!👍😀
