I got the Mini Maglite 2AA LED, the original version with around 140 lumens almost 12 years ago and it is still going strong. The focusing headcap casts the spot more than a hundred yards out with a laser like focus. I do construction and now a Fenix UC35V2.0 and PD40RV3 are my primary EDCs but the Mini Maglite is still in my tool case as a backup. I run only Lithium Energizer AAs in it and they never leak or lose power. One pair of lithium Energizers lasted almost a year with constant use.
The main reason I bought a MAGLITE mini mag Pro AA flashlight is because of it's small diameter tube size makes it comfortable to carry in my pants pocket. The optional red lens has good brightness with this light is the other reason I bought this light. ✅ I bought the MAGLITE optional leather holster for my mini mag Pro AA flashlight. It attaches easily to my belt and allows me to quickly pull it out for use at work.
I think Maglite is still important and essential to many people. It provides light and is reliable, especially with that iconic shape and design. anyone will see it and immediately know it is a flashlight. This is especially important in emergency and last minute situations for sure. it is something you don't give much thought to and use when necessary, and that is something maglite has perfected and has got going for them. I have several maglites and they have all been reliable and will be ordering that green one there that you have. all in all i think maglite is great and should get a little more exposure with their products. their colors are good, but if they could find a way to get them more "weather resistant/rain" that will be the sweet spot for sure.
@@unitedstatesirie7431 I thought so too but their ipx rating says it all. It can be resistant but if you are in heavy rain like a storm or if it drops in a body of water it will eventually seep into the led area and burn it out.
Maglite launched line of the spectrum series, where light temperature is approximately 4000k. Basic models have too cool light 6500k+ and it's big disadvantage is lacking of the intermediate light at 5000k ( especially fo aa and aaa ) 3d like ml300 has approximately 5500 and they light neutral mild)
Sadly it isn't all metal though, the plastic lens scratches too easily for me, the reflector is plastic too, I love them, but not perfect. As an ex maglite dealer, the internals aren't actually made in the states
@@2010GRABOWSKI Maglite sells replacement lenses on their site. All parts of Maglite flashlights can be disassembled for service and parts replacement. I had replaced a glass on my Mini 2AA LED.

Thanks for watching! Maglite for the win!

I thought the Mini Mag AA flashlights are waterproof. I never had rainwater get past the rubber O-rings into my flashlight.

The best flashlights for me. Period. My EDC choice is Solitaire incandescent and led for different purposes, and I use them every day.
Thanks for watching! I totally agree with you - MagLite is simply the best!

I prefer the 127 lumens Maglite Mini Flashlight because it has a 11 hour runtime on high and 25 hour runtime time on low.
Thanks for watching! I love the mini Maglite!
@Outdoor_Prepper Yeah they are better for work too especially the maglite mini led 127 lumens and maglite ml25lt 2 cell led 192 lumens.
we need to get maglite back on top as well as made in america products if not sooner or later everything will be from china or elsewhere
