Thanks Mate !!... Always a huge blessing to have straight forward step by step on things simple, yet never before done!! By the way; I happened to notice your pedals are on the PASSENGER Side. JK My British friend; I love driving in the UK and having to challenge my habitual right-hand-gear-shifting !! Have a Pint on me will ya..??

Thank you for the video. Maybe you know - are the connection cables on the back of this climate control panel that mounts under the double-DIN head unit are the same as for the regular climate control that is installed below a single-DIN unit? Reason why I'm asking - I'm currently working on an old C5 as a project car, and would like to replace the original Concert II with Audi RNS-D double-DIN head unit with the screen, but as I understand, to make this swap I also have to replace the climate control panel an trim frame as well (maybe something else?).

By removing that and the radio do you get access to the flap that controls airflow? I have cold air on the passenger side but ambient on drivers side. As far as I know there is flap that controls the dual zone thing

Hello. Many thanks about the videos you post. I have a question.. in the exact same climate unit, when I turn on the ignition it starts a blink for 2 minutes and then stops. Do you know what'a causing this problem ? Can i fix it ? Also, a technical told me that it doesn't send a signal the A/C motor to start ( the climate control cannot send cold air at the moment ). Is this true ?
    Thanks again

Do you have a particular tool you use to remove the equivalent panel from the C6 variants?

    hello good day

Hey there! If it's not illuminating and the buttons don't work then most likely is that the unit has gone faulty and requires replacement. You can pick them up cheaply on eBay so that might be the best route to keep costs down.
      Best of luck!

      Hi there!
Thanks for taking the time to show us these DIYs! They are extremely helpful especially for newbies like me (just got into Audis)
I have a question regarding removing the power connectors. Do you remove the negative cable off the battery when disconnecting them or Audi won't set any codes or lights in dash?
I heard when disconnecting the radio I will need its code but not sure on the climate control and other electrical connectors.
