My only real issues are the swinging in lightning smh and the lasso twirl to block bullets.... one is impossible no matter what super power you have save for freeze lightning and the other is a flash move... we already have a speedster

The movies was so bad, I felt so ashamed to be a DC fan. Dc had only one Job, keep the Wonder woman fortune going only for them to kill it with their damn wishes.
This movie taught me that love makes you weaker if its the only thing that you want in life....and that letting go whats gone is more important that holding on it....specially when its no more.
i think this one will be his last appearance, although we could be wrong, but i'm wondering why is he still alive? maybe he's just a clone, diana's imagination or something.
Finally saw the film today. And i have to say, that it actually wasn't as bad as anticipated. I thought it was quite enjoyable. Of course it had it's flaws, but i liked how the focus here wasn't just on cgi or action scenes but on the emotional and personal aspect of the characters and their developement.
Being 1984, he'd have to note down the original Star Wars Trilogy, Star Trek (series & movies up until that point), the moon landing, Rocky, Rocky II and other stuff from the 50s all the way to 1983.

It feels like this movie was announced 25 years ago and y'all want me to believe it's coming out in theaters? Really? We're gonna be waiting another 25 years.
I really enjoyed this movie it doesnt deserve the hate it gets to be honest . The emotional and personal connection between the characters was well written.

@@meepers536 In the TV series, they made the change by having Steve Trevor Sr. and Steve Trevor Jr. to explain the same guy in different decades. However, that being cheesy, I suspect there was some sort of time port or something at the moment of Steve's plane exploding in the first film. Just a guess.
I can imagine if they made cheetah, an African woman. Not for arbitrary diversity reasons, but as an expansion of the character's depth. Along with a Kenyan accent, it would enhance the general aesthetic of the character. In the same sense Wonder Woman is Mediterranean. Therefore Gal Godot's Israeli accent and appearance enhances her screen presence.
Trinity Wright well in the comics she looks kinda hot but she’s a physco I think they did good job on bringing that physcotic personality to her and she didn’t look sexualized and she actually looked like a wild beast so I thought that was good
@@ginolorenzo4117 Exactly. The Zimmer score is the least to be excited about this film. If John Williams scored Wonder Woman 84, then I'd freak the fuck out. As is, seeing Gadot kick ass, Wiig as Cheetah, the story and action sequences are infinitely more important than the score.
I don't know why everyone dislikes the movie or is unsatisfied with it i personally loved it. True it may of not been as inspiring or epic as the first film but it had it's moments. I was astounded by Kristen Wiigs performance! I've mostly seen her in comedies and was curious how she was gonna take on this role. First she's this insecure and barely noticed woman (which was similar acting to other movies she appeared in) and then she becomes this highly confident femme fatale. Barely recognized her and thought not bad for a villain.
Steve Rogers got lucky with the Internet ready to teach him everything about the new world he woke up in; Steve Trevor only has Diana to explain to him what a trashcan, a radar, and parachute pants are.

The CGI for this movie looks FAR better than the previous Wonder Woman and DC movies, and the Cheetah looks phenomenal. I am seriously impressed with DC.

This one actually completes Diana as Wonder Wonder in my opinion. The first one definitely had a more compelling storyline, however, with this one it really completes who she is, and what she represents. Wonder Woman is truly the embodiment of strength and courage. The strength and courage to love, to fight, to sacrifice, to lose (most evident in this second film), to be a hero, to be a champion, and to be an inspiration. I feel that a lot of life lessons can be learnt from Diana throughout this whole film if you pay close attention. They did a fantastic job on this particular aspect. Definitely worth watching.
Now that is something to be excited about! Not that the score from the first one was bad or anything, Rupert Gregon-Williams did an excellent job. But there's something really, really special about Zimmer's works.
Odd are that's not Hans Zimmer. Trailer music is usually from a previous movie, purchased off the shelf, or composed by another composer or production company who specialise in promotional music.

I am a Zimmer fan till death. And I am shocked to hear myself say, "Hans better no f*** it up." lol. Rupert created an unbelievably epic soundtrack for the first movie - it's one of my favorites.
I live in New Zealand, a country whos government cares about its people and did the hard work early. And because of this I'll be going see this on the big screen next week with my big bucket of popcorn and giant coke :)
It doesn't look like she's flying, she appears using her lasso to fling herself a large distance in most of the scenes. But we would have to wait and see in theaters.
They're not gonna kill him. What keeps him alive must be some sort of a spell or artfact that Maxwell Lord took a hold on. Once he and his spell/artifact is destroyed, Steve will just cease to exist. Diana will have to choose between him and saving the world. And we all know what she'll do.
Diana wished for Steve & he came back but in return the dream stone took part of her powers that's why she looks weak & unable to fight Cheetah! But eventually Steve convinces her to do what's has to be done. So she wishes for steve's death & that brings back her powers again & in the last scene you can see her fighting with cheetah
Number one: not many people could tell that it is cheetah fighting wonder woman but if you look at it frame by frame you see a women who looks like a cheetah
So, getting Cheetah in this was a given. Everyone knew that. But are we also getting Weather Wizard? Because it looks like we're getting Weather Wizard.
DAMN. Kristen Wig actually pulled it off. Cheetah looks a badass. This movie is so gorgeous to look at. And I think this trailer is quite in line with a theory believed by many ( including me ) that Steve will be a result of a hallucination or a trick by Maxwell. If so, it will definitely make Diana one of the most interesting recent CBM characters with one of the most genuine, consistent, and beautiful character arcs.
Not hallucinations or trick. Imo Diana sacrifices her power to be with Steve who gets resurrected through the dream stone which was shown in the first trailer. So, Steve comes back.
She looks pretty good. I hope she is one of the best villians of this DC movie universe. The only one I liked so far was the Shazam one. And Oceanmaster a bit too.

Gal Gadot is great no question. I respect her acting. This movie, however, was mediocre at best. I get that its fantasy sci fi but it was feeling empty and not engaging. But as already said, Be Careful You Wish For. As wonder woman discover, love has no heart.
You can get your money back in 20 minutes, btw. Just ask. Or, wait til it goes to DVD, then get it from the library for nothing. Sometimes they even have digital downloads.
You are right. It is a terrible movie. Cannot overlook Wiig's character portraying her lack of confidence being beaten into us continually during the film. It was obvious what was going to happen later. Viewers are not that stupid. Set a tone quickly and move on from that. Or did they not have more to say during the film?

I don't know why everyone dislikes the movie or is unsatisfied with it i personally loved it. True it may of not been as inspiring or epic as the first film but it had it's moments. I was astounded by Kristen Wiigs performance! I've mostly seen her in comedies and was curious how she was gonna take on this role.
First she's this insecure and barely noticed woman (which was similar acting to other movies she appeared in) and then she becomes this highly confident femme fatale. Barely recognized her and thought not bad for a villain.
Steve Rogers got lucky with the Internet ready to teach him everything about the new world he woke up in; Steve Trevor only has Diana to explain to him what a trashcan, a radar, and parachute pants are.

This one actually completes Diana as Wonder Wonder in my opinion. The first one definitely had a more compelling storyline, however, with this one it really completes who she is, and what she represents.
Wonder Woman is truly the embodiment of strength and courage. The strength and courage to love, to fight, to sacrifice, to lose (most evident in this second film), to be a hero, to be a champion, and to be an inspiration. I feel that a lot of life lessons can be learnt from Diana throughout this whole film if you pay close attention. They did a fantastic job on this particular aspect. Definitely worth watching.

Now that is something to be excited about! Not that the score from the first one was bad or anything, Rupert Gregon-Williams did an excellent job.
But there's something really, really special about Zimmer's works.
Odd are that's not Hans Zimmer. Trailer music is usually from a previous movie, purchased off the shelf, or composed by another composer or production company who specialise in promotional music.

They're not gonna kill him. What keeps him alive must be some sort of a spell or artfact that Maxwell Lord took a hold on. Once he and his spell/artifact is destroyed, Steve will just cease to exist. Diana will have to choose between him and saving the world. And we all know what she'll do.
Diana wished for Steve & he came back but in return the dream stone took part of her powers that's why she looks weak & unable to fight Cheetah!
But eventually Steve convinces her to do what's has to be done. So she wishes for steve's death & that brings back her powers again & in the last scene you can see her fighting with cheetah

DAMN. Kristen Wig actually pulled it off. Cheetah looks a badass. This movie is so gorgeous to look at. And I think this trailer is quite in line with a theory believed by many ( including me ) that Steve will be a result of a hallucination or a trick by Maxwell. If so, it will definitely make Diana one of the most interesting recent CBM characters with one of the most genuine, consistent, and beautiful character arcs.
Not hallucinations or trick. Imo Diana sacrifices her power to be with Steve who gets resurrected through the dream stone which was shown in the first trailer. So, Steve comes back.
She looks pretty good. I hope she is one of the best villians of this DC movie universe. The only one I liked so far was the Shazam one. And Oceanmaster a bit too.

You are right. It is a terrible movie. Cannot overlook Wiig's character portraying her lack of confidence being beaten into us continually during the film. It was obvious what was going to happen later. Viewers are not that stupid. Set a tone quickly and move on from that. Or did they not have more to say during the film?
