“Eric is your father, Brooke is your mother and together they made Forrester what it is today. Don’t you deserve to run it?” This argument would seem more believable if he was talking to Thorne, especially since it was HIS mother that made forrester and not Brooke.
@@lil_jon411 Exactly! Somewhere down the line (from bits of episodes I’ve watched here and there) the company has been in major crisis , because Stephanie was gone. The first time when she was kicked out and the second when she passed. Even Brad acknowledged that through those those storylines. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong! )Stephanie is the backbone of the family and company.
But Thorne, like Ridge, can never hope to control the shares. That is why Massimo going to Brooke's heir instead of Stephanie's makes sense. Thorne would be in the same position that Ridge is.
I see you point, technically in the Forrester line of succession Throne would be the heir to Forrester because he's the 2nd oldest & he is a bloodline Forrester/Douglas, Ridge's inheritance technically is through Stephanie only, who's trust gave Ridge that leverage in the future to him & his kids, but in 2002 Rick was the heir because his Brooke & Eric owned the majority of the company, Ridge & his siblings did not did not.

Let me just say that I found it very annoying when Caroline’s magazine was such a huge success right out of the first print. I totally understand Ridge teaching idiot Rick a lesson in respect and decorum in the last Forrester board meeting. However, the antagonistic attempts to intimidate Rick from attending the next meeting make Ridge appear too aggressive and threatened by his much younger brother. I see some really interesting conflicts in future board meetings as Ridge battles Rick, who will be newly armed with the knowledge of Mossimo.
Ricky boy is not the rightful heir, it would be one of Stephanie's children. So it would be Rigde, Thorne, Kristen, Felicia. Most certainly it would not been Ricky boy.
It doesn’t matter anymore Eric didn’t get a prenup with Brooke so now Brooke has her two kids involved because she has 51% and that’s Eric’s fault for screwing around. Look at the mess because he wanted a young beautiful girl.
I have to admit I find this scheme of Massimo's to get Ridge to leave Forrester and come work with him instead entertaining (and far more well thought out than his first scheme).
The problem with his first scheme was relying on Stephen Logan in the main... But I really like that Moss/Mass is now the Ursula to Rick's Ariel. Interesting that he doesn't mind entertaining doing business with the guy he supposedly hates for scheming to send his mother away.
I dont know why but many forget that Stephanie built FC with Eric and that Ridge is still Stephanie first son, the head designer, the one who can run the company among his siblings
I can't recall, but how many shares do Kristin, Felicia and Thorne have combined? If they gave them all to Ridge, would he have controlling interest? Anyway I guess not bc no matter since Brooke has that extra 1% over the half mark.

They needed a board meeting to vote Eric out the day after he lost the company to his soon to be ex wife.
