This whole plot is just a contrived way of getting Ridge to leave Forrester and go work with Massimo. Yes, there is some great acting by SF but it can't hide the fact that the entire premise is nonsensical. Amber doesn't even work at Forrester (and, as usual around there, has no contract...) and suddenly everyone wants her one design more than they want Ridge as head designer? And why would they have to take a vote about Ridge's resignation at all? Brooke owns 51%, if she doesn't want to make Ridge CEO again he won't be - and Ridge knows it. So what was he hoping to gain by this ultimatum?
@annieo6527 exactly! It's getting more and more absurd, isn't it? Maybe with the voting the writers wanted to put an emphasis on how different his other siblings are compared to him & put another wedge between them. But yes - the storyline is getting a real bs... That with Amber... 🥴🥴🙈🥴
It certainly is contrived for the "Massimo is Ridge's real father" stupidity. Even the way Ridge keeps talking about Eric and Eric saying Ridge is so "different" from the others.. Clearly it's a set up. Bc as we all keep saying ain't no way Ridge could ever be anybody's but Eric's child. However, Steph keeps saving the show from itself. I would have stopped watching completely were it not for her being the only one with sense to remind us how we got here and what has really been going on. But at least Thorne should have had something to say in light of the apparently now forgotten horrible fake marriage he had with Brooke.

They even defend each other. If you don't believe me see what's coming in the next episodes. Their relationship is a roller coaster which will eventually put them together because they fit and not because Taylor is seemingly going to die.
Steph has done the most to help Rick, even when his mother wasn't interested. But, the one thing she will NHAT do.. Is put any of Brooke's brood over her children, esp Ridge.
And Ridge isn't violent, even when Ridge threw the first punch and then even tried to hit the guy that was still kneeling on the floor after Ridge's attack? 😂 But yes, Bridget should have been there to witness that fight at the office. Bridge would have seen for herself that Deacon can defend himself quite well and could have done that too when Eric, Ridge and Thorne had attacked Deacon after the Rick-Amber wedding.

Ridge is sick. Bullying a pregnant woman, getting in her face and calling her trash! Then attempting to assault his baby brother for standing up for his own wife! Deacon kicking his butt was so sweet!
Ridge didn't have to stoop so low by calling Amber a trailor trash....This is so destructive for her....She had a mother who was so disturbed.....He is so damn arrogant, I just can't stand him.....Deacon just tried to protect Rick here....The one who is out of line is Ridge....He wants respect, but he treats everyone like dirt....
Stephanie is this really the man you want to leave your husband for Massimo who has a women at every port. Didn't have any problem kissing this girly. Actually Eric isn't as stupid as you all think. Sometimes in life it takes more courage to turn the other cheek. His intrusions are not completely wrong. To be a successful Ceo you must keep the peace and be diplomatic. Ridge is just too full of himself and demanded to be put in charge. He is wrong in opinion. Yes he deserves to lead the company but not by being a bully.
I said it before, Massimo just "seems" to be the better guy after all these years, but he might not be necessarily. We had Stephanie several times mentioning that Eric 😂 had been the safe choice in college, when Massimo had been a playboy. Every one of Massimo's flings seem to know about his feelings for Stephanie, but Massimo still flirts and kisses them, even when he still hopes that he will soon win Stephanie over and get her to move in with him.
“Has a different woman at every port” as if Eric hasn’t cheated on her multiple times. While I do agree you should be cordial at the work place, that does not mean you just bow down and agree with every bad decision they come up with. The forresters (besides Ric) all of them didn’t like ambers design and had no faith in her yet just agreed to put it into production. Brooke doesn’t even like Amber but only did it to get her as an ally to cover up her secret. Is that really a good way to run a business by just putting any random persons designs in? Wanting peace does not mean you stop having a kind of your own and not speaking out against something. I do think Ridge overplayed his hand by rushing the takeover so soon, but I don’t see nothing wrong with him wanting to get his family company back to its rightful owners.
To put this in context, someone needs to tell Ridge that you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. 😬 I can understand Eric’s perspective better than I can Ridge’s having attitude with everyone at FC. Didn’t Ridge create this whole problem for himself with his dishonesty and underhanded methods? 😣
@@mara4450 Ridge just demonstrated how “emotionally”he wasn’t fit to be the CEO. 😬 Ridge is showing how power has taken over clear thinking at this point? He left it up to what Brooke wanted to do? 😜
Stephanie never treated Eric with respect. Ridge was not fired. He threatened to quiet, and they accepted it. Ridge and Stephanie always had their desires first and to hell with everyone else.
I agree with Eric. If Brooke wanted she could have fired them all. A failing line would have it done and over with Amber. No, Stephanie, Ridge did it for himself! And himself only! Egotistic manchild. And Stephanie should stop pretending - she is still lying to Eric - Ridge is not even his son!
@lil_jon411 how did she benefit - she humiliated and bullied Brooke publicly - this is what narcissists do. Brooke was ready to give Ridge the shares her children should have inherited from their father - how is she the bad guy here? If Ridge hadn't done what he did, this would have become reality. Stephanie's behaviour infront of the press was absolutely unacceptable! This is not how you manage a company! She should pack up, take her manchild son Ridge and go to live with Massimo - they would fit perfectly together with their big egos and shady way of sorting out "problems".
@@andream5998why people are so blind. I'm not a Ridge fan, but he is the head designer. His designs and his father's ones made FC great, not Brooke. That kind of power Brooke has over her in unbearable and totally undeserved
This was almost as satisfying as when Brooke gave it back well to Stephanie during Belief. Nothing surpasses that, even if Ridge got it well and well deserved. Well done Deacon.
Brooke is pregnant with her daughter's husband's baby and carrying on with him right under her daughter's nose. She is not the heroine here. (At least with Belief, Brooke was an underdog)
@@ram262maha Neither is Ridge who attacks people left and right, psychologically and physically, he is being a bully and somebody had to put him in his place. Brooke will gets hers from Bridget, who is the only one with the right to be angry at her concerning Deacon.

I’m sorry, but I hated Ridge in the storyline. What type of grown man constantly attacks a pregnant woman? He got upset and ran to his mommy to try to take back the company, and failed. He got drunk off power. I was happy as hell when deacon spin kicked his butt over the desk. you can really tell how the new writers did not understand these legacy characters
I loved Deacon kicking ridge. He always puts people down and calling amber names just out of spite was uncalled for. He and Stephanie both need to go. Stephanie does nothing at the company at least in 2002. But cause trouble and blame Brooke for everything. She has no financial degree and can’t design anything. One minute she wants amber to succeed and then she is put her down for were she comes from.
Steph handled the business side of things. She established all their connections that allowed Eric’s designs to sell.without her no one would have even known who he was not to mention she’s the one who funded the whole thing. Holding Brooke accountable for her actions is not “causing trouble” just because everyone likes to excuse everything she’s done. There would be so FC without her so I’d say she’s definitely earned her place at a company SHE paid for.
@Html962 exactly! Stephanie pushed him to marry her cos she got pregnant by another man, look at what she did to Brooke's mother and later their entire family! And so many other things, the list goes on and on... She's a rich bully who got married with a lie, and then suffocated and alienated most of her children and her husband cos she's a control-freak! Why did Eric spend more time at work and later divorced her? Cos apart from Ridge, nobody else could bare her toxic personality. And the divorce had nothing to do with another woman.
7:28 Ridge seems to be disappointed that they didn't talk with Jonathan and didn't try to make a case that a pregnant woman is incapacitated to vote her shares and to lead the company.
In exposing Brooke in front of the press…. Stephanie brought the scandal to FC with her own misguided actions. 🫢 Stephanie betrayed her own company and family to go after Brooke. This was a vindictive act, plain and simple. 😮

Eric is such garbage, and I am so glad we get to see Stephanie read him the riot act he so richly deserves in this episode.

My only problem with Ridge calling Amber trailer trash is that he's never said it to Brooke. Even Eric is trailer park trash.
She's the SFTV they lived in a house 😂😂
Good one 😂
Ridge is pretty trashy himself.
Yep, I agree!😆
@@roubad9034not as trashy as brooke
I couldn't agree more! 👏 Rewatching these episodes, I'm reminded of why I stopped watching the show regularly around this time.
🔍 for B&B season 9 2120
It certainly is contrived for the "Massimo is Ridge's real father" stupidity. Even the way Ridge keeps talking about Eric and Eric saying Ridge is so "different" from the others.. Clearly it's a set up. Bc as we all keep saying ain't no way Ridge could ever be anybody's but Eric's child.
However, Steph keeps saving the show from itself. I would have stopped watching completely were it not for her being the only one with sense to remind us how we got here and what has really been going on.
Eric just accepting all of Brooke's decisions since she came back "for peace"?🤕
Kristin is a nonentity to me. But at least Thorne should have had something to say in light of the apparently now forgotten horrible fake marriage he had with Brooke.
@@TriniT21 They want us to forget that of all Eric's children, Ridge has more in common with him. B rad 🔔 is really riding this retcon.

Well you are in for a treat. Ridge didn't say Brooke made him sick he said they all did. If you notice both Brooke and Ridge made insults they never made them personally against each other. Why do nobody say: why people are on Ridge's office uninvited?
Or , "Deacon is too violent with those legs on people's face, he shoud gonto jail"...
And Ridge isn't violent, even when Ridge threw the first punch and then even tried to hit the guy that was still kneeling on the floor after Ridge's attack? 😂
But yes, Bridget should have been there to witness that fight at the office. Bridge would have seen for herself that Deacon can defend himself quite well and could have done that too when Eric, Ridge and Thorne had attacked Deacon after the Rick-Amber wedding.
Deacon tried to stop him attacking Rick calmly, and Ridge punched him and was running towards him to attack again, self defense 100%. Ridge deserved both legs on his face and it was great that vase was there too.
Rick could have avoided going towards Ridge.

What a shocker, Eric siding with Brooke. A year later Ridge will say to Brooke that was the best decision to fire him.
I can understand Eric’s perspective better than I can Ridge’s having attitude with everyone at FC.
Didn’t Ridge create this whole problem for himself with his dishonesty and underhanded methods? 😣

It galls me that she could stand there and be rate Eric when she’s holding a secret that ridge is not even his son what a hypocrite
The fact that she can stand there and be so high and mighty knowing her “little secret “ … laughable… speak the truth queen bee !!!
How does Steph personally benefit by anything that’s happened ? All she wants is to ensure HER company goes to HER kids…nothing wrong with that.

With Deacon being trained in martial arts, he should held back or neutralized the situation better
