This Lady is whip smart and way ahead of every audience member. Her backwoods Wisconsin act belies a wonderful intellect. She is playing! And we all laughed like it was a middle school talent show....... Well done, Mary Mack!! I wish I could describe the curve you are ahead of.......
Mary Mack is a treasure. I watched this a long time ago. I think it is even funnier the second time around. Some of her funniest lines did not even get a laugh, like "cilantro and John Denver." She has so many solid jokes. I hope she gets the fame and attention her comedy deserves.
Dorothy B - the late John Denver was so oh-gosh Little-House-on-the-Prairie whitebread wholesome, that for him to be _too etnic_ ...you'd have to be from, well...Minnesota...or possibly Wisconsin or Idaho.
I just went back and watched a ton of her early sets when she was way younger. She bombed sooo many times and her delivery wasn't nearly as good. A mix of poor delivery and terrible crowds. I think that's why she's always so grateful for the laughs now, hahahahha
Mary Mack is the funniest, most charming female comedian I've seen in decades! She only plays the Northern Wisconsin hay seed, but she has a number of advanced degrees in music, composition, and orchestral conducting. Mary Mack has single-handedly rekindled my interest in stand-up comedy!
Her energy, the way she delivers, and even her laughing.....all of it makes for such great comedy. Absolutely love her. And from the audience's laughs it's clear that almost every woman in there found her relatable or just adorable. Keep at it, Mary.
She's a beast at comedy. Such a clear, unique voice & point of view. Great, likeable stage presence & the subtle absurdist element to her jokes is straight gold.
I think I saw that. Ooo never mind that was my cousin and neighbor and the weird guy down the street. Haaaaaa the joys of MN. Where a sporting goods store is a date.

My mom is from the woods, and I know all about the burn barrel. I just about died laughing about the fire! She has a tinge of my grandparents Norwegian/Canadian accent, and I love it.
Much closer to a "Fargo" accent if you ask me. We have a lot of hard "O"s in WI like when we say "snOOOW" we know how to hold that "O". :) Madison here btw.
You know nothing about thick accent. Try a Greek national born to Russian parents trying to speak English ;)....who's living in Alabama....that's me :)

Love dry bar. Mary does a great job. Loved her set so much I watched it twice. Addictive smile. Made me laugh when she kept thanking the crowd for laughing at her jokes, so humble. Great job dry bar. Imagine that…good clean comedy. God bless America.
To me..she is right at the top of comedians. Lately, due to the times..I have had a terrible melt down and reach out to watch comedy to try to feel better..Just about nothing can penetrate my deadened soul..I'm a mass of tears daily. Watching Mary puts smiles on my face.(it really does) as I am from a small town in the upper Mid-West and can totally relate to EVERYthing she said. Thank you Mary.
She is so cool! Ive never heard of her but I love her style. Her jokes are intelligent and yet very humble. She even looks the part; earnest and sweet and lost
How can someone so petite deliver such big laughs? And with that straight face? Absolutely great entertainment. Didn't even feel like a show but listening to a friend at a nice evening at home, being incredibly funny. Thank YOU !
It took me a minute to warm up to her because of her voice but its genuine. I like her style of comedy. I'm from California and salad is my favorite food. 🤣💚🛸😂
She made a lutefisk joke?!? And a joke about the sludge, I mean coffee in Luthern church basements? I think its hilarious, but who else knows about that stuff?
Coming from Illinois I can relate to each story and appreciate that beautiful Smile. I think she is a hoot and and half. Cute as a button sweet as pie. God Bless Mary Mack, You go! Dennis

i did not get the john denver joke, being too ethnic.

Aww, she’s still a catch. She’s very attractive
Thank you for bringing this old Lutheran boy home to Minnesota, Mary! I left for the Air Force in 1982 and so little has changed - which is wonderful.
