Sorry for my late response. I think only the original prototype used the husky frame. After that they had a company build frames specific for the bike but they were modeled after the Husky frame.
Great Job👍 Did you have to use a rm rear hub for it to work with the 79 rm 125 swingarm or were you able to use a yz hub & if so what year & model hub matched the swingarm?
I used the original XT500 hub. the slots in the swingarm were the right size for the axle. I did have to make some spacers that were the right thickness because the RM swingarm is narrower.
If it's a HL frame or a replica the oil drain plug will be on the bottom of the square stanchion which runs down the centre of frame behind the engine as the oil doesn't run down the front like on the XT/TT. At 2:40min you'll see the plug, hope this helps you.

can you make a video oil change of this bike. I can't see the oil drain bolt on frame, thanks!
