Twisted Metal 2 not only was it a blast solo and with friends it sold like crazy and was the first cool video game commercial on television. In fact the only reason I am buying a PS5 is I heard they are releasing another Twisted Metal title. I mainly pc game now Blizzards Heroes of the Storm and SC2. Real awesome video games you never talk about you guys just talk about consoles games post more PC stuff please.

Yeah but there's an HD remake of Medevil. And if you like Legacy of Kain, yeah you can't go wrong with the original Soul Reaver but I highly recommend the original Blood Omen too. Now, It's graphics haven't aged well (hell they weren't even that great at the time) but it's gameplay is solid.
Personally, my favorite Final Fantasy was Final Fantasy VIII. I know it was criticized for its convoluted story, but I loved the world travel that it did and the characters one could interact with. The Mercenary School Setting was golden for me and I loved this world with its characters deeply. It also made me love train travels. xD Dunno, but I got a thing for that because of this game. ^^

Metal Gear solid is one of, if not the best tactical game ever made! So much nostalgia when hearing that music! I beat that game probably 20 times when I was kid and loved it every time. So much emotion and conviction in the story.

Bushido Blade is a very unique fighting/simulator game that you guys missed. It's up there with Tekken 3. Few games even now even attempt to try what Bushido Blade did.

How could y’all forget about Grand Theft auto and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2? GTA may have started rough but just the concept of it makes it replay-able. Flash forward years later and it’s astonishing to see how far the GTA series has come. Yes. THPS was rereleased but the original on PS will always be a classic to go back to.
Feels to me like Ape Escape is missing here! The boxing minigame was addicting and the normal gameplay with the many gadgets was extremely fun! =3 Not to mention the nice little story it had as well.

A lot of PS1 were wayyy too difficult for me as young kid but I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to revisit some of these awesome games through the PS3 PlayStation shop which has a lot of ps1 and 2 classics, and backwards compatible ps2
I'm surprised Tomb Raider wasn't on there. I played the 1996 game again just last year and after first level and getting use to the controls and graphics it was just as good when I played in 97

Legend of Dragoon was not quite good enough back when it came out and now, after trying to play it these days, it is far too slow now to be enjoyable which is a shame.

Back on release it was only given average-good reviews for good reason. It wouldn't be in a genuine top ten of the Ps1 RPGs, let alone a top ten overall. I think a lot of people mistake rare games for being the 'best' games and this isn't the case lol. I'm not hating on the game, I own it myself afterall, just stating facts.

I’d say that Xenogears is a PS1 game still worth playing today just because of how good it is from its combat to its story it’s a game definitely worth the time. And fun fact Xenogears was the original concept for Final Fantasy 7 before they decided to change FF7 into what it is today.
PS1 is an absolute gold mine I think! Crash bandicoot and Spyro the dragon overall were my favourites ever. but pac-man world, Rayman, ape escape, croc and many of the Disney and Pixar tie-in games definitely weren't too far of either.

I think Ape Escape(s) and Digimon World 1-3 Should have been on this list. Also I would do just about anything to find another Copy of Digimon World 2, the Hardest one to find, since it's the Best One, and I've played it so much it stops working. I've gone through like 3 to 5 disks, it's just that Great and Awesome. Please Spread The Word! I want it to get out there so that maybe, hopefully, I truly wish that It/They will be remade.

I still got Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot: Warped, Crash Team Racing, Spyro 2, and Spyro 3 because they are my original Playstation collection.

As far as an exclusive goes, Chrono Cross surprisingly still feels pretty modern and looks great for its time. Overall great list though.

Croc is such an under rated game

Games are good in story and character developing but they all deserve remake to be playeble
Metal Gear Solid was not the first in the franchise
Metal Gear released in 1987 is the first in the series.
It’s the first in the “Solid” series...
So it’s not wrong, technically.
Mega Man X is the first in the X series.
Mega Man and Mega Man X are numbered separately. So is Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid.
we all know there are two earlier metal gear games. but he said it always nice to go back and check where the Solid Series began. this was the first Metal Gear SOLID game. the other two are just Metal Gear, although we the same protagonist
Other than that, recommending:
Tenchu 1 & 2, Soul Blade, Legend Of Dragoon, Xenogear, Tekken 2, Dead Or Alive, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy 8 & 9,
If this top ten was on the PS1 Classic it would have been awesome
Ps1 probably has the best game library.
