I live in Keswick and I think fell running is just a completely different type of fitness I know a few fell runners and the problem is unless you actually live here or around fells you can’t practice on the terrain regularly. I think he did amazing considering and brilliant attitude but when you meet some of these fell runners they are running up and down several fells as their morning jog with their dogs and they also do it most days. I see them all the time and it’s still insane to me but i just think it would be so difficult to train otherwise!

Love this content, Danny’s attitude was brilliant. My brother does ultra maraothons. We live 30 mins from Keswick, he’s done the Bob Graham before and more recently The Ramsay Round so we know that feeling so well of following/ tracking. You can hire/ buy trackers which are helpful for supporters. I know he had a few supporters for different legs which might be something to consider. I know he’d be more than happy to pass on any tips he’s picked up along the way If Danny wanted. You were so close Danny, and better to be safe than try push through an injury x
Can I just say that this is so bloody inspiring!!! I used to be big into my running years ago and this one video has inspired me more than anything else I've watched in YEARS to get back into it! Well done Danny, you smashed it and you'll deffo complete it at some point. Your attitude and mental strength is goals! Zoe you are the best supporter too. Loved this vlog, and you and Danny are so inspiring with your fitness. I’ve climbed quite a few mountains in the Lakes and Scotland and Bowfell was the worst of the lot 🫠

You guys should try the big chill swim in January in lake Windermere. So much fun. I am a x Paralympian and did it about 8 years ago. If you guys like a challenge in which I know you do you would enjoy it.
I was 95% sure we were about to see Danny jump in and do a water rescue for the man in the kayak! 🤣 bummer about the result this time but great attitude all around and lovely to see such a unique athletic event! Great supporting!
I dont know if this brand would work for this type of thing but its hunting gear made specifically for elements hot or colt and lightweight and waterproof its called KUIU! MIGHT LOVE IT ❤

Favourite vlog yet - probably because the lakes is also my favourite place. We stayed the centre of Keswick just last week.
