I'm 3.5 years post-op with the sleeve and thought I'd share my experience relative to what you're talking about! Maybe it will reassure/help in some way!
    - you'll be able to drink drastically more water after a while. I can drink as much water now as before surgery. It's just temporary that you can't.
    - the vitamin makes you feel awful almost certainly because it has iron, biotin, and/or some other metal in it, this is very very normal, the exact same thing happens to me. I prevent that feeling by taking it after eating something carby, I know you said you tried it with food but you're still eating so little food that might be the only issue. When you're eating more it might stop being a problem. But if it still is, they do make multivitamins for women (men don't seem to have this issue) that are coated in some way so that this doesn't happen, you could look for one of those.
    - I lost almost all my weight in the first 12 months. I went from 245 to 145 from Oct 2020 to Nov 2020. It then took me another year to lose another 10 lbs and I've been between 132-138 since late 2021. TAKE ADVANTAGE of the first year because it becomes far harder to lose weight after that. Your appetite and ability to eat more COMES BACK!!! No matter what people tell you it can be hard to believe. But it's true -- yeah our stomachs are small but they empty quickly and then they can fill right back up again with more food. I eat 2100 calories/day now and trust me I could eat more if I wasn't weighing and tracking every calorie. The restriction is temporary!! Use it while you have it!
    - Don't stress out about not hitting your protein grams now. You can't eat enough food yet and it doesn't matter. You can rebuild muscle mass later if you want to. I joined a gym in Jan 2022 (prior was closed due to covid) and have rebuilt so much muscle. Once you get out of the tight restriction phase you can definitely eat enough to build muscle if you want to (I got deep into several sports including a strength sport so I did so, it takes a huge amount of time to build muscle as a woman so don't expect it to be fast. But you also won't lose a lot of muscle either. You only really lose what you're not using anyway. People freak out way too much about the protein thing.)

Protein shakes. Seriously! I can’t even look at them in the grocery store! I really can’t even drink chocolate milk from the grocery store anymore. That thickness just makes me want to gag. I have been making chocolate milk at home and it’s a lot thinner and goes down way easier. 😊

Nice podcast! Very articulate! It might be an inert ingredients in the pill form of multi vit. I would talk with the surgeon or nutritionist about it maybe even a pharmacist. Try n see if you can crush them up n mix in applesauce or maybe pudding. Yes eggs. I'm really into the eggbeaters but if I eat a while egg everyday keep in mind about the cholesterol level might increase alittle it did with me that's why I'm doing whites but I will have 2-3 whole eggs a week. And since dairy is easy to eat the fat free version has highest protein followed by reduced fat, also be mindful of the sat. Fats too. Happy for you keep it up!
