Amazing times back in the days in this legendary place!! Walking downstairs was such an exciting experience. Saturdays afternoons meeting the likes of Hype, Andy C, Rider, Zinc to name a few and of course Ray, Nicky and Ash behind the decks 🤩 I came from Belgium to spend the day in London including at least 3 or 4 hours in the store. Great memories!
went many times at the end of the 90s/early 2000's...last time i went Nicky and Ray had a bag full of mint kit kats which got dished out in the basement. Classic shop and one of my most favorite in the world.
Ahhh the Mecca for D n B. Benn many times. Watch out for those steps those very steep on the way down! There was a cafe next door last time I went down.
i hope it is still there i am planning on going to the big smoke on a record buying weekend go to a couple of gigs ?but mainly to pick up d n b 94-2000 and i know that area is good for record shops i am from up north its hard to get that sort of thing in newcastle etc i buy on discogs but i like shops like black market better!
