Your explanation has discrepancy... coz if we want to calculate the charging time then we divide the capacity (mAh) with the charging current (mA) not charging speed which you said repeatedly. So when you divide mAh/mA then mA gets cancelled in Numerator and Denominator and what is left is h (hours) which is actually the charging time. Further in case of ECR-20 you said that that for charging 2800mAh÷200mA=14hrs, we need 14 hrs, over here you did not divide the charging current with 4. But in case of ECR-11 you charged the same battery 2800mAh÷1800mA=1.55 Say approx 1.6hrs and over here u divided the charging current with 4 and hence u said it will take 6.4hrs (that was a discrepancy in explanation) With due respect... and ur explanation style is good And all the best Looking fwd for the correction

Mine heats up too. I usually put it on two pens so that air can pass under the charger. If you have any heat sink you can put the head sink on the charger while charging. also., don't charge for very long try charging for an hour or two and see how much backup you are getting from the battery. If the backup is enough then don't charge for any longer.

is the 200mA for the whole charger or for each charging point in the charger. It appears you made a mistake in your calc. If it is for the whole charger then your total charging time for 4 batteries would be (2800*4/200)hrs = 64 Hours. If 200mA is for each charging point then doesnt matter if you are putting 2 batteries or 4 batteries, it will be same
In the fast charger each port is independent and supports a maximum of 450mA. for 4 ports that would be 1800mA; total output of the charger. That means if you put 1 battery 2 or 4. charging time would the same depending on the capacity of your battery. But, in the slow charger the ports are not independent and you will have to put minimum 2 batteries to charge, The total output for two port is 200mA, so, if we charge a single 2800mA battery it will take about 14 hours, but we can only charge minimum 2 batteries so the 200mA is distributed between the two batteries so, each battery get 100mA. That means if you charge 2 battery the charging time would be 28 hours for two 2800 battery. And yes, you are correct the charging time for two battery and 4 battery would be same. My mistake was i only mentioned the charging time of a single battery not two which would be 28 hours. Other problem is the output on the charger and the packaging is also different.
