Not normal, either problem with your rechargeable batteries or charger. Did you saw batteries getting heat up, or no reaction?

Defective hai, talk to customer care
I had purchased AAA battery and its charger of envie, I kept it for charging, batteries s not charging and even LED light on charger is not glowing. I kept it for charging for more than 12 hours, even then no charging. Charger got slightly heated up but no considerable heat in batteries
Hope you did place batteries just next to each other the way I explained. If batteries are properly placed and LED not working it means your charger has an issue. But first, check for battery placement.
